My Daddy Is A Hero

My daddy is a hero.
He is strong and brave.
He helps people.

A terrible thing happened.
People were in big trouble and Daddy went to
help them. Then he got in trouble too.
I miss my daddy.

Mommy's sad too.
We cry and she holds me.
She says Daddy loves me.
And even if he's not here his love
still is.
And I can wrap it around me
like an invisible blanket .
And take it with me wherever I go.
It can keep me
warm and safe.
It can help me when I feel sad.
It will be with me forever and ever.

My daddy is a hero.
He is strong and brave.
Mommy says that part of Daddy is inside me.
It will always be in me.
And because part of him is in me,
I can be strong and brave like him.
My daddy is a hero.
And I am too.

for families of fire/rescue workers with young children my heart goes out to all of you. hope this may help

I don't know but thought this might help some people searching for missing loved ones. I warn you that some pictures are graphic and hard to take. There are some pictures (on 3rd page I think) that show people around the WTC after the hits and one or two in stairwell. Someone might recognize their loved one in these pictures. It is with that hope that I post this.....

In the midst of this unspeakable horror, my condolences go out to the families and friends of those killed or missing. The people of this great country deeply regret that you were called on to make the supreme sacrifice that you have made. We are incredibly grateful to the rescue workers for the wonderful job you are doing under the most horrific circumstances. Our thoughts are with you. GOD BLESS AMERICA. Brenda in MD

To all my fellow Firefighters:

Firefighter's Prayer-
Lord, guide me throught the fire
and make my pathway clear:
As I rescue those in danger,
May I have no fear.
Although the flames surround me,
I know I'm not alone:
For you are right beside me:
You never leave Your own.

Our deepest thoughts & prayers go out to the families and friends of the missing or deceased. As a fireman's girlfriend, I fear each day he leaves to work & I pray he will return to me safe and sound! Speaking for the Albuquerque New Mexico Fire Dept. May God Bless each & every one of you!

To all the families who have been touched by this tragedy, we in the the UK are thinking about you. And never forget that we stand with you no matter the consequences.
As an ex submariner from the Royal Navy I have come to respect the dedication and comradship that has grown and developed across the pond. Whatever the future holds for this precious earth we must stand together to erradicate the evil that is trying to kill the common bond that brings man and woman to stand together..... not religion but the sacred sanctity of liberty and freedom. Once again are thoughts are with you at this time.

Dave.

To all my brothers and sisters in New York, I am a Fireman in Philadelphia and I want to express my deepest symphathy to all who have been affected by this horrible tragedy. I have never been more proud to be a firefighter than I am now. To the men and women of the New York Fire Department you are all heroes. Speaking for myself and many others , anything we can do to help we will. We hope to offer more manpower to help the effort. Hope to see you soon! Till then my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Please don't give up America:
When we "die"...not all of our body is dead.
America OFFER to give another chance at a conscious life...CYROGENICS (freezing) preservation allows for a MEDICAL RESSURRECTION
one day...A Ressurrection Burial Tomb..like on the dollar bill...is only fitting...
Syracuse New York has 3 large vacant MALLS..the Fayetteville Mall vacant for 5 years...is a dignified building with trees..could be available for a CRYOGENIC BURIAL SITE...GOD BLESS

Our family is searching for a volunteer at the WTC on 9-14. His name is David Townsend, we have no information on where he is from. We believe he is with the red cross or NYC Firefighters. If you have any information, please email our family ASAP at cbenning@hotmail.
