Our hearts go out to the millions of people affected by this attack as we almost lost a loved one in Washington. We cannot know the grief of those who have lost loved ones. I work in a shipping department and talked to a woman who has a sister-in-law missing in the attack, I cried that night when I got home for her and her family, we live a many miles away from each other and yet I feel the sorrow that she and her family feels. She lives in Texas and I in Wisconsin. I'm not sure if she will be able to read this in the near future but she and her family are in our prayers and thoughts. This is how we can help each other even though we may be miles apart as I know that she cried, not even knowing who I was, I cried inside but tried to help her be strong for a few moments. This is how we can stand proud and help each other through the hard times.

God Bless the Little Children

God Bless the little children, who find it hard to understand. The problems and the turmoil that are going on in the land.

We instill in them good values that we can't even observe, let them tell us how they feel and make sure they are heard.

What type of an example are we, and grownups all around, when we take the lives of others and invade each others grounds.

God bless the little children and help them not be scared, please place your angels around them, and see they don't get hurt.

All we can do is hold them and allow them to feel our love, listen to their thoughts and fears and leave the rest to God above.

God bless the little children, in terror they did see, they will never understand, and neither will we.......

To the American people: All the decent people in the world are with you in this tragedy. Your fears and hopes are our fears and hopes. Your tears are our tears and, when you will one day be ready to smile again, we shall smile with you.
G-d bless you all in these trying times.
To the Mayor of NYC.. G-d bless you sir, for being so strong! Bless you also, for not allowing the scum of the earth to persuade you that because Israel exists, it was the reason for the horrendous tragedy. So many, many people, sir have the utmost respect for you! Thank you Mr. Mayor for being who you are!

To everyone whom has lost someone dear:
12 yrs ago I lost my brother. He too was a Hero to me. He was in the Army and was on a training mission when his flight went down. My heart still aches for him. May God Bless You All and I will remember you in my prayers.

To Paul Cascio's family:

I recently read about your son on the University of Vermont's website. I am only 20 and am upset that such a young man was taken. I was moved by his life and his heroic efforts in aiding a fallen co-worker. This is the only way I could inform you that his life will forever be remembered by a stranger he never met. May you take comfort in the fact that his "brief but full life" is a tribute--a tribute that you and his loved ones will continue to remember and that I will focus on as I grow as human.

Paul, may you forever rest in the arms of eternal peace and security.

IN MEMORY OF ALL OUR FALLEN HEREOS
FDNY,NYPD,EMS,PA AND OUR CIVILIANS

SCATTERED DREAMS

SCATTERED IN THE ASHES
REMAIN THE DREAMS LEFT BEHIND

THE DREAMS OF A WIFE
AWAITING THE DAY WHEN SHE WILL SEE HER LOVE AGAIN
DISTRAUGHT AND IN PAIN

THE DREAMS OF A CHILD WHO WILL NEVER SEE HIS PARENTS COME IN THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR
AS HE WEEPS UNCONTROLLABLY ON A COLD KITCHEN FLOOR

SCATTERED DREAMS OF A DAY
THAT THEY WILL NEVER SEE
UNLIKE YOU AND ME

THEIR HOPES LEFT ASTRAY
FOR THE COWARDS WHO MADE IT ALL VANISH THAT DAY

THOSE COWARDS THAT DO NOT REGARD LIFE AS SACRED
FOR ALL THEY DARE DREAMS
ARE DREAMS OF HATRED

AND ALTHOUGH WE ARE SO HURT AND DEEPLY SADDEN
WE LIVE ON THE HOPE THAT YOU TOO WILL FEEL THIS
UNDYING PAIN, YOU WORTHLESS COWARD BIN LADEN.

GRATEFUL TO GOD FOR I AM STILL HERE
AND IN THE WAKE OF WHAT IS TO COME I HAVE NO FEAR.

WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND HOPE, MY CONDOLENCES...
MARI ORTIZ
