My husband and I wish to extend our condolences to the families/friends/coworkers who lost someone in this needless, senseless act. Our hearts especially go out to the families of the Firemen,EMS workers and Police Officers who have fallen in the line of duty trying to help others.Having been past members of a volunteer fire dept. and volunteer ambulance we feel a close "brotherly/sisterly" tie with them.God Bless America, our thoughts and prayers go out to all.

My heart go's out to all the victims and their famlies. This was an evil cowardly attack, with so many lives lost, by people who were just out to do a job. I did not know anybody in the attacks but I was so horrified and saddened by what has happened which has affected us all in some way or another.I pray for all of you through your sorrow , I also wish I could be there to help you all through this sad time, and this long healing process. But I live in Bermuda. We in Bermuda are also thinking of you all and what has happened in the past week .You are in our prayers and we will continue to pray for you all. Also to praise the rescue workers in the work they are doing as they are true heros. MayGod bless you all America. The Land of the Free.

I live in Scotland in the UK & we have been DEEPLY SADDENED by the events. I know that words may not help, but please note that we are distraught at what has happened. We have broken down & cried & desperatly want to help in some way. We are collecting money tommorrow in our work place to try & ease the pain for the families that have lost.

GOD BLESS EACH & EVERYONE OF YOU.

This is a terrible tragedy that is not yet at an end.

In response to TM's message, I would like to point out that people of all faiths(or lack thereof) were involved in this horrible incident.
This was not an issue of religion. This was an act of hate. The perpetraters need not hide behind an excuse stemming from religous beliefs, for one is not there. I do not know of any religion which condones such an act. These people had issues, but they were not religous ones.
Peace be with you all...
and GOD bless.

I typed a short message earlier and was thinking last night, how cool it was that a country that has expierienced so much tragedy in the last week can pull together as we did. I am giving you all a hug right now. Never give up hope and keep your head up high.

For those who remember the "Canada Caper" incident in 1980, former Canadian Amb. Ken Taylor who now lives in New York is confirmed to be all right.
