Hello, my name is Christina Azar and I am from Oak Park, Mi and there are no words that I can say to make it any better, the only thing that will help make a difference is to help all these people who are missing and bring them back to their loved ones and pray for the victims, firefighters, EMS and NYC policemans who lost their lives to evildoers. May God punish these perpetrators. My heart goes out to each and every one who were affected by this terrible tradgey. May God shine upon you and give you strength. I pray that HE will make miracles and end this terrrible suffering. Just know that the people from Michigan are hurting as well and that we will overcome this tradgey and lift our heads up high.

May God bless you in this time of need. We love you very much.

Peace and love to all.

Sincerely,
Christina

PS. Please feel free to e-mail me if you wish to talk at christinaazar@netzero.net

Although days have passed now, I am still sad about all the people that died and those who lost their loved ones.
May God protect all those families who are now suffering from this disaster and may they find comfort in God's hands.

May God give faith & patience to all America and to all the people in the world and to those innocent families and children who are suffering!

God save the World!

My sister was working at Ground Zero in the few weeks following the disaster and met a NYC police officer who had been in two building collapses, was rather badly injured, yet he continued with the rescue work. His first name is Frank and she believes his last name is Giovinizzio. If anyone has any information on where to find him we would appreciate it. We just want to know that he is OK.
Thank you,
Laura

Once again, we are still searching for the NYC police officer, but it seems Giovinizzio is not his last name. His first name is Frank, he is approximately 5'8", average build, with dark hair and a mustache. He was in one of the towers when it collapsed, was injured, but went back out and was in the #7 building when it collapsed. He had burns on the left side of his neck which was bandaged, he had broken ribs on the left side, and he had an ace bandage covering his right arm. He has been on the force for 10 years and was a psychology major in college. On September 19 or 20 he came into the bombed-out Burger King across from the trade center where my sister, Nancy, was working. He had not been eating but said he would really like a McDonalds hamburger, so they went out and found him a couple. Nancy then went down to Boulez (sp?) where Sigourney Weaver was handing out food and asked her to come talk to Frank, which she did. Frank was in a great deal of pain, but he still went out to help with the rescue.
If anyone knows anything about Frank, please email me. We want to know if he is OK.
Thanks again,
Laura Rapchak

This message is to the family of Stewart the dog. I know that the owner was on one of the planes bound for Los Angeles.
I live in Los Angeles and have rescued your dog, Stewart, from the local Animal Shelter.
If you are a survivor family, left behind five dogs, owner was going to come back for them, I have Stewart. He is safe, happy, and well loved by my family. God Bless. Just wanted you to know that your dog is alive, and safe, and cared for.

Still looking for Frank. It turns out he was
ex-NYPD but had come back to Ground Zero after being injured on 9/11, in uniform, on September 23, I believe the date was. He was in pain and in shock and I believe, was standing watch, waiting for the remains of the NYPD members to be recovered. I have contacted the Commissioner who put a detective on the case. She located him a year later but since he was separated from the force prior to 9/11, she said they didn't know where he was and "thank you for your concern". I then took it to Chief Esposito who eventually reassured me that Frank had a support structure in place and was ok. I sent him a St. Michael the Archangel medal to forward to Frank. He returned it with a a letter full of a number of possibilities why, including maybe they didn't know where Frank was. A huge weight had been lifted off of my shoulders when he'd said that Frank was ok. With the last message, I'm pretty much back to step one. At the time of this writing, 1/23/04, I am supposing that Frank is ok. Still, I would like to find him and find out who he is and what his last name is and things that I've been wondering about for the last 2 1/2 years. With every anniversary, when I hear workers say that they now think they need counseling, I wonder about Frank. Finding him would make my heart a lot lighter. Oh, one more thing. According to my friend Richard, a firefighter who'd come out from Tularosa, NM, Frank was across the street from the Trade Center when the first plane hit. Also, he was born in Italy and was possibly a sergeant, although I don't remember any stripes on his sleeves.

Nancy
