As I woke up on wednesday morning (australian time) I had no idea of what tragedy had occured during the night. As I turned on the tv I was confronted with images that terrified, shocked and hurt me. I am lucky to live so far away from the incident, but who's to say it couldn't have happened here in australia. My love, tears and thoughts go out to everyone who has lost a loved one, who is giving their time to help find victims, and to the entire country as you stand tall in this moment of crisis. I have always believed that America was and still is one of the strongest of nations, and the people who live there. Stand tall. My father, boyfriend and boyfriend's father are all in the emergency services in australia, I pray everyday when they go to work, that they will come home safely. To the unfortunate people who's lives were taken by selfish cowards, I pray for them, and their family and friends
