As I sit here thinking of what I could possibly say, I am dumbfounded. As I watched the horror unfold yesterday with my heart in my throat, all that went through my mind was "how?" "how could this have happened?" It was terrifying trying for hours to reach loved ones in New York to find out if they were okay or not. I still have not heard from some of them. I can not comprehend what it must be like for the people who were there and lived the terror. I am sure that the past day and a half have felt like an eternity. I will do all I can in the days, months, even years to follow to help in any way possible. To victims, survivors, families, and all Americans my heart is with all of you, as well as my thoughts and prayers. There is no comfort, and nothing anyone can say to take away the pain and anger. Bless you all.

I too am very sorry for all the pain you must be seeing and feeling. I am on the other side of the country but I do have family close by this tragedy. I can't imagine how hard it must be to wonder if you loved ones are okay. I hope they are. My prayers are with all of you who are directly involved in this tragedy.

Prayer provides a way for those of us who aren't in the direct path of this destruction to at least do something, yes give blood , send money
