Freedom is a privilege we often take for granted here, I know because I remember what my parents went through to escape the communist country we lived in and how different life is in that type of country.

Freedom in all its forms, freedom of the press, freedom of religion etc., is a privilege that we individually must take responsibility for.

Example: The press should be more careful not divulge information that could be used by terrorist.
On the news yesterday I heard someone mention that the side of the Pentagon where all the critical military functions are carried out was on the opposite side of the crash. ??? what the hell, why not just paint a bulls eye – drop bomb here!

I’m not saying we should sensor - but be careful, take responsibility for the safety of others and yourself.

We Americans are generally kind hearted and we tend to view others as being the same but that is not a realistic view. The truth is there are people out there that care nothing about life, who live without empathy or sorrow for the misgivings of others, true psychopaths who rejoice at another’s misery.

The innocence of the USA has been irreparably damaged by yesterdays events but I believe we will prove to the world that our spirit is intact.

Let's not focus on calculations to give us answers, let us focus now on the families who have loved, lost, and the families who are breathing in and out in these extremely uncertain moments for them. My prayers have never been so strong. I only hope that this terrible tragedy will show the evil people that we are of the Free World and freedom will ring within forever. This terrible act of hatred will not change our Freedom. As Neil Diamond puts it "I am proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free!" GOD BLESS AMERICA

"THINKER" you should "re-think" your name. Those people who are stuck under all of the mess only have God to talk to. And the way you sound, you should drop to your knee's and ask him to forgive your blind sight. The people who have loved ones who are missing need to talk to God, as he will comfort them. It may not be the type of comfort that they imediately want, but he will comfort them. I hope the "Invisible Space Pixie" as you refer to Him watches over me and my family, as well as you and your family.
