Dear America,
I just wanted to pass on my deepest sympathy and warm wishes to all those affected by this disaster, which is no doubt all the people of America and around the world. I have no idea how it must feel for you all but all i can say is that everyone here in NZ is thinking of you all and praying that they will get the monsters that have done this.
NZ is shocked and disgusted at the brutality of these attacks. Friends and family sit glued to the tv at every possible moment, with tears in their eyes, although we are thousands of miles away we all feel your pain and wish there was something we could do to help.
America, our love, thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I don't know anyone here in NZ that hasn't shed a tear for you all.
Our American embassy in Wellington is like a shrine, with beautiful flowers, poems and messages going to all Americans affected mentally and physically.
Stay strong and safe
Thinking of you all :0)

So, Rise High Above

In the midst of a moment, when a heart dares to dream,
all hopes for the future live in vision's we've seen.
Still in this fine moment if one will not dare,
All hopes, dreams, and visions remain unchanged there.

So if dreams you have planted, just will not sprot,
try watering with faith instead of with doubt.
Above all use patience in all good that you do,
hold strong against challenge and always stand true.

Through the doors of our lives, we find change within seasons,
some will dare to explore, some avoid for their reasons.
Now if you have grown weary in pursuit of your dreams,
endure through the seasons, and your dreams you'll redeem.

For the prize is not given, to the dreamers alone,
It's a part of all champions, who despite odds have grown.
You must fight for your chances, in the light of God's love,
You've been destined for greatness, so rise high above.

God Bless Us, God Bless America

I live in New Jersey, and when I look across the river at the smouldering skyline, it's unreal, like something out of a movie. I did not know anyone who was in the WTC at the time of the attack, and I can't even imagine the pain of those who lost loved ones or those who are still searching. The more TV I watch, the more depressed I get, but I can't tear myself away from it. I used to be a fairly secure, well-adjusted person, but now I am afraid to be alone or even go to sleep. People say we can't let the terrorists scare us, but they sure as hell have succeeded in scaring me!! What the hell is this world coming to?? My heart goes out to you all, not just New Yorkers, but everyone worldwide who was affected by this tragedy.

Love & Peace,
NWS
