Footprints
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it: "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied: "My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

My Bros.-in-law, Richard Fraser, is a new AON employee who was working on the 92nd Floor of 2 WTC, the South Tower. He was 32 years old, 5'10", 173 lbs., blue eyes, three inch scar on stomach, light scar on upper lip, casual clothes. He was married to Suzanne Fraser, 27 years-old and had a son Aidan Fraser who will be 2 as of December 11, 2001. To all America: may God give you the strength to endure this horrible disaster. I am a 15 year old living in Ontario Canada. It makes me so proud today to add my name to this long list of Canadians offering their condolences to the victims of this terrible act. These past few days I've been overcome with a feeling of gultiness and frustration. I've wanted so badly to be able to help in some small way, but I just can't seem to find a way to do this. In ways I've felt caught between two worlds. Lately I've been ashamed of how some Canadian teachers and students are treating this. I've felt envious of the patriotic spirit your country is filled with. Your country truly is united. It makes me so proud to finally see a list of thoughtful Canadians on this board.
