to everyone touched by this tragedy, l want to extend my own deep sympathies. I lost someone very dear recently as the result of a tragic accident and have two teenage children - his children. So my heart goes out to you all and the one thing l found to be a great help was a hug, a simple hug to let you know someone cares. I send a big hug to all of you and many prayers.
I just want to express my thoughts to everyone hurting. This is the most horrifying day in our world and i hope it will never happen again.

To everyone, the victims, the families of victims, recovery workers, firefighters, policemen, and our beloved nation, I wish to express my condolences and my respect for all that you do and have done. I live in Virginia and am still in shock. I have donated to the Red Cross and will give blood when the centers here are in need again, they say they are full now. I don't know what else to do. I keep all of you in my many prayers daily and ask God to be beside you at all times, giving comfort and courage, as you face what we all know could have easily been us. When you are hurting, know you are not alone...The rest of your country aches, also. I pray for the children of our country, that they can return to normal...still with some sort of innocence. I pray that the children of the parents killed in New York and at the Pentagon will have the support of their extended families, that they know God is with them and that their parents lives will not have been lost without notice or retribution. I pray that our President be given the strength and fortitude to do what needs to be done. I know that in the end, whomever did this, will have to answer for it...to a higher power than anyone on this earth. That they be made to know exactly what EVERY person involved in this tragedy felt at the moment of the execution of their actions.
I hope everyone will display your loyalty to our country...please display your flag....show the rest of the world that we WILL NOT lay down and take this..and that we will stand TOGETHER not only to grieve but to fight to maintain what the ONLY God has given this country. May he keep us and bless us in the name of his son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen
I posted about Eugene Lazar yesterday. He has been found deceased. If you want to, remove that post.
At the slight risk of being elevated to the CIA's most wanted list, can I just say that I thought the USA was supposed to be a God-fearing country!! Sure, any sane person was appalled at the enormity of Tuesday's events, will certainly cannot condone it under any circumstances and symapthises with all who have lost loved ones. But when your Congress (and the rest of the Western world too - and I am one of them) votes the same amount of cash to the underdeveloped nations of the world (to wipe out the Chain of Debts) as it cost to build (and perhaps rebuild) the WTC towers as a monument to free enterprise and capitalism, then perhaps we will all be free to live in a more peaceful, sanitised world. How can God bless America if all it wants to do is vist Armageddon on the Afghans and a thousand miles around? Who has the right to decide or even think that one American is worth more than a thousand Afghans, Iraqis or Palestinians? Why the hell can't we co-exist on this planet without hating everyone who doesn't think, speak or live like we do. Bin Laden used to be on your side so what changed? Does his Koran say that the love of money is the root of all evil? Is that why he took out the Manhatten financial nerve centre?
If Tuesday changed the world, let's all hope that it is for the better - a fairer, juster society, not just USA Number one and to hell with everyone else in the world. What does it profit if you rule the whole world but lose your life? Get real, folks, and tone down the hate and revenge, understandable as it certainly is. Good morning, America, and welcome to the real world
"Vengence is mine" says Our Lord. Now What?
An American's Hardest Prayer-
I pray for you, my enemy.
That your mind will know that this “God” you believe in, that promotes murder selfishness, prejudice and hate, is what we American’s call the Devil.
I pray for you, my enemy.
That somewhere deep down beneath all of your hate, the reality of the destruction and pain you have caused rumbles your soul back to life.
I pray for you, my enemy.
That you will one day find out God’s true word, of love, forgiveness, tolerance and peace.
I pray for you, my enemy.
That you now have a better understanding of the strength of the American people. It does not lie beyond our skyscrapers, our buildings or towers, my enemy. It lies within our souls.
I pray for you, my enemy.
Your mission has failed. In the face of evil, we have not been torn apart – instead, we have united as a nation, helped one another, maintained faith and pride in our country
and most importantly, cherished our FREEDOM – the one thing that you can never take from us.
So, although it takes everything from inside of me, my enemy –
I pray for you.

NO HAY PALABRAS,MIS OJOS NO TIENEN MÁS LÁGRIMAS PARA LLORAR A MIS AMIGOS.
DESDE MARBELLA,ESPAÑA.
QUE DIOS NOS AMPARE A TODOS.
Even though I am from California and all I see is what is on TV please except the sympathy of myself and my friends.
Remember that the United States is strong, and that strength is from her people. I don't always agree with the policies, but I know that behind it all we stand proud of the country.
Know that what will need to be done-will be done. All survivors need to put the anger aside and let the grieving begin. Let others worry about situations that you cannot control, they are better equipped right now.
Lean on the love of your friends and relatives, and feel the love from the rest of the world.
You have it all.
Hang in--things will get better.
Does anyone know if Myllin Safir, an Indian citizen more recently from Berea, Ohio, is OK? We're not sure where he worked on the island and he is a former member of our church. Please contact juliamahler@mediaone.net if you have any info. Thank-you.
