From Linda in Britain, I cannot find words to say how sorry I am for the awful tragery that has happened this week to all Americans not only those that live in America but also those that live in every corner of the world. God bless you all.

I am looking for my dad. His name is Thomas P. Farrelly, he is 54 years old, 6 feet tall, weighs 165 pounds, and has light gray/white hair. He is wearing a blue button down shirt, khakis, brown tie shoes, an Iron Man watch, and a silver wedding band with overlapping circles engraved on it. He works in the World Trade Center, I think in the north building. He has a zigzag scar across the fingers of his right hand, a protruding bump on one shoulder from a broken collarbone, and a vertical scar on one shin. He has a wife and four kids waiting for him. Please look for him and send any information, expecially where he is, to kafarrel@holycross.edu.

I have two small children. America, please do your best to make this world a safer place for them. I pray for all those who have been touched by this atrocity, and for those who are selflessly giving of themselves to aide in the rescue and recovery efforts. God Bless.

In The Name Of Freedom
By Dawn M. Dukes
Dandridge, Tennessee

Tears, hands, and faces turn toward Heaven
Images too real, images we never thought that we would ever see. Hearts heavy with sorrow, and our minds filled with thoughts of our men and women.
Angels gathered from above that day to comfort our people. All those souls now in paradise where there is no hatred.
Hatred is what brought us to this devastating
point in time, but love is the one thing that
is going to lift us.
And from love we will defend our great nation
and our fallen people....
In The Name Of Freedom.

Love to everyone.......

Questions for all Americans who feel that their country should wage war on the guilty, and in some case the totally innocent in order to kill the guilty.

Before 3 days ago how many Americans took an active stand against terrorism and those suffering at the hand of terrorists elsewhere in the world?

Before 3 days ago how many Americans believe that George Bush should concentrate more on domestic affairs and leave the rest of the World to their own affairs?

Before 3 days ago how many Americans cared about sanctions in Iraq, catholic schoolkids have to be escorted to school by riot police in Northern Ireland, ETA, the now so touted Taliban regime?

Please learn from this terrible tragedy that Terrorism is much older than 3 days, heartache and bewilderment is a common occurence elsewhere and innocent people have been losing their lives in the name of 'a just cause' all over the World for many years.

What you have all suffered is a tragedy, but when the wounds start to heal, please do not become bitter and insular. Perhaps the greatest fault of Americans before this tragedy was ignoring the rest of the World, believing that as a Superpower the rest of the World had nothing to teach you, nothing to contribute. You have learnt something very sinister and evil over the last few days, but there are many positive and beautiful things that you can also learn. I heard on a news report yesterday that only 7% of Americans have a passport - acurrate or not, there is little doubt that having spent time in the states definitely less than 7% of your nightly news concentrates on International issues. Your government and politicians are elected by you, they are your REPRESENTatives, like it or not they speak for you. Pick up an international newspaper from time to time, log on to the BBC website, see how the rest of the world lives and copes with what is so new to you.And see what the rest of the World thinks of America. It never bothered you before but perhaps it is time to realise that, many countries around the World dislike what they see, many legitamately so. God Bless.

Please - digest what I say before writing a message in anger. I have lived in a country all my life where people dont want to listen to harsh truths and find it very hard to alter their viewpoint to take in other opinions.

The explosion. Towers falling. People jumping. One still standing. Both fell. We will rise again. Hijackers, Osama, Anger, Death, After effects. Rubble, Debris we will reunite. More terrorists attacks, More anger Bin Laden not getting caught, We will get him, He will pay. Sending food, clothing this will bring our nation closer. Move on, rebuild, this event will never be forgotten. Dedications, In memory of, Memorial, God bless all the people there. Helpers, rescuers, everyone putting in hours of time and effort you are all heros and will not be forgotten. We will find him, we will attack him, we will prevail. Freedom, Flag, US, That is what we are all about. GOD BLESS AMERICA
