My heart goes out to all the families, friends, and rescue workers of this tragedy...May God be with you. This has all been so devastating and the effects of this will have a lasting impact on all of our lives; no American will ever be the same again. If there is any good to ever come out of this, I hope it will bring each one of us closer together. I live in KY and it has made me see life in a whole new aspect...life is so fragile and we must never take it for granted.

NY 11th September

The date of the attack: 11/9 - 9+1+1 = 11
September 11th is the 254th day of the year: 2+5+4 = 11
After September 11th there are 111 days left to the end of the year.
119 is the area code to Iraq/Iran: 1+1+9 + 11
Twin Towers - standing side by side, looks like the number 11
The first plane to hit the towers was Flight 11
State of New York - The 11th State added to the Union
New York City - 11 Letters
Afghanistan - 11 Letters
The Pentagon - 11 Letters
Ramzi Yousef - 11 Letters (convicted of orchestrating the attack on the WTC in 1993
Flight 11 - 92 on board - 9+2 = 11
Flight 77 - 65 on board - 6+5 = 11

My religious readings are very limited, but isn't there something about the number 11 in Revelations?
My thoughts are with you all - GOD BLESS AMERICA

Just a few words from us to all the friends in the USA that although we don't know you , we feel very close to at this moment

Do not stand be sad and weep.
I am not here. I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond's glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand be sad and cry.
I am not here. I did not die.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT THE SHOCK OF THIS TERRORIST ATTACK ON US ALL IS TREMENDOUS. EVERYONE I KNOW HERE IN THE UK STILL CANT ABSORB THE ENORMOUS OUTRAGE THIS IS. WE MUST MAKE SURE THAT WE REALLY HELP AND SUPPORT THE FAMILIES WHO HAVE LOST THIER LOVED ONES. THERE HAVE BEEN MANY HEROES THIS WEEK, I KEEP THINKING OF THE PASSENGERS WHO IT SEEMS MAY HAVE TOOK ON THE HIJACKERS ON ONE OF THE PLANES WHICH WAS GROUNDED BEFORE HITTING A TARGET. JUST ONE OF MANY ACTS OF BRAVERY THAT MAKE ME FEEL HUMBLE.

I know that no amount of words can truly bring comfort to those who are awaiting news of loved ones, but please know that there are so many people thinking of you all around the world. I find it hard to believe that the pictures I have seen over the last week are real events - they can't be!! I feel helpless, angry, sad, so many emotions - but mostly I just feel so much for the people who have lost loved ones in this terrible tragedy.
My love and thoughts are with you all.
Carol, Scotland.
