If the proper action had been taken on the other past acts this last one would not have happened

hi Im so sad about this tragedy that just hit the US part of me just die I had spend one year at US in a student exchange program, and I think of the US as my 2nd home .This really shouldnt happened to anyone. Our prayers from Peru to all the victims of this tragedy.

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: One belonged to hime and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome time in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.

The Lord replied, my precious, precious child. I love you and I would never leave you during your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you. Author unknown

While stranded in Mexico on during these tragic events, my thoughts and hopes and prayers were on getting back to the very nation that was attacked....because I feel safer here than anywhere else in the world. Most want to flee their country during terrorist attacks, however I only wanted back to the borders that provide my freedom and safety. No other country in the world gives people that sense of security or promise of safety. We are a BLESSED AMERICA indeed! The people of Mexico were very accomadating to two young ladies (my sis and I) who had no more money and no clean clothes left. They helped us to wash them and to stay free of charge in the hotel we were at...they also requested that I let as many people as possible know that their thoughts and prayers and condolences are with us all. They all wore black ribbons and put signs up in all the malls and stores which read "God Bless America..Our thoughts and prayers are with you." They were all very apologetic and helpful. They gave us some sense of compasion while we were scared to death. I have no words to describe the feelings I feel for all who have lost loved ones in this tragedy. I was fortunate enough that noone I know fell victim to this tragedy however that did not mean I did not deeply mourn their deaths. I will pray continuously for all of you and for your healing.

As a family member who is still looking for a loved one in the debris of the World Trade Center, I am angered by all the anti-American people's postings I have read. I am not an ignorant American nor am I isolated. I know America has done some hypocritical and maybe even terrible things and I am aware of other things, but we have never, never advocated killing innocent civilians in such a cowardly, sickening way. To all you people who say no revenge, and are busy telling me and others how we deserved this, I pray to God you are not reaping the rewards of my country of America. On behalf of my family and our lost loved one and all the thousands of others who are missing, think before you accuse. You are dealing with a bunch of sick, perverted, religious fanantics, nothing more, nothing less. And you are just as sick if you believe we deserved this.
