The best way to remember and honour the dead is to hunt down the killers/ murderers/ terrorists/ fanatics / pick a name ...as Israel's ex-Prime Minister said, "Let's not bother looking for the needle in the haystack - let's just get rid of the haystack". Hear Hear.

My heart mourns with the victims and their families, caused by the devastation of the cowardly acts of terroism on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. As I watched in horror and disbelief I was consumed with a fear of never seeing my daughter again, and what the families of the people on the planes, in New York and The Pentagon were going through. I know that it is a difficult time for all Americans, But trust in the Lord Our Father. He will heal the pain. Let us not forget the lives that we lost, but remember through the memories that they gave us.

Dedicated to the families of the missing rescue personnel.

“DON’T CRY FOR ME”

THE PATH I WALKED WAS ALWAYS STRAIGHT
IT LED ME NOW TO HEAVENS’S GATE.
THE BADGE OF HONOR, I WORE WITH PRIDE
I NEVER WAIVERED FROM MY STRIDE.

IN THIS LIFE WE MUST ALL TAKE A STAND
SECURE IN THE THOUGHT, GOD WILL HOLD OUR HAND.
THE FALLEN OFFICERS, HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE
STANDING NEXT TO GOD, AND KNOWING HIS GRACE.

TO MY LOVED ONES AND FRIENDS HERE ON EARTH
WE ALL KNEW THIS TIME WOULD COME FROM THE MOMENT OF BIRTH
THERE’S A TIME TO LIVE AND A TIME TO DIE
I NOW LIVE IN THE BEAUTIFUL BLUE SKIY.

I’M LOOKING DOWN FROM HEAVEN ABOVE
I SEE YOUR GRIEF AND I FEEL YOUR LOVE
I’M REALLY OK, I’M HAPPY AND FREE
I’M STANDING NEXT TO GOD, “DON’T CRY FOR ME”.

God bless Cirrus the dog, also! My heart is heavy with all the tragedy that has befallen my fellow Americans, and my heart and prayers go out to all those involved. I do want to issue a special prayer for Cirrus the dog and his gaurdian, who loves him so much ; to the K9 officer who worked in the WTC, and left his dog behind in his kennel, to investigate the "explosion" - I saw you in an interview on TV and it brought tears to my eyes (again), when they showed a picture of your beautiful pup and said that he is missing.
I kind of have a feeling that he might still be alive, that his kennel some how protected him, and I hope and pray that this is the case! He is very important too. I hope I got his name correct.
I thought that was you on the podium to open the NYSE on Monday 9/17, and I thought,What a miracle that you made it out alive! - I hope that another miracle takes place with your animal.
And to ALL those who mourn , rejoice, suffer, hurt, worry, recover and HOPE, I think that this E.B. Browning passage is relevant:
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height that my soul can reach, when feeling out of sight. I love thee with the passion put to use in my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with the breath, smiles, and tears of all my life! And if God choose, I shall but love thee even better after death.

The other day, on a NY TV station, I listened to a woman whos husband was missing. She has twin daughters and is 7 1/2 mo.s pregnant. His first name is George with the last name beginning with Ga..... I don't know why I haven't been able to get her out of my mind (as there are SOOOOO many people that I've heard of and pray for...). Does anyone know anything? Has been found/accounted for? I know he worked for Cantor Fitgerald. I have been to many websites looking for info. I don't want any personal info, just want to see if he made it. Anyone know of a website with his info? From one pregnant mom to another- I just need to know her and her kids found their Dad/husband!!!! I can't remember all of the names, but I pray for all those injured and recovering, those lost and their families, and for our country!!!
Sincerely,
Tammie B.

If you know who Ralph W. is, please send me an
e-mail, is very important. We are praying for him but we don't know who is he. The only thing that we know is that maybe he is alive.

A special message from the heart of the United Kingdom. The tragic events on Tuesday 11 September will forever be etched in our minds, our deepest sympathy goes to everyone who has lost loved ones, friends and colleagues, may they rest in eternal peace. A special message should also be sent to the brave rescue teams who are at this time still searching and still holding onto hope, we hope with you. I think I speak for the whole of the United Kingdom when I say, stay strong for youre contry and youre peace, you will never forget and neither shall we, we share youre many many tears, we share youre sorrow, Evil will not win. The good people of our land will. Britain is with you, strong,we stand side by side, we are 2 contries but we are both UNITED. America you will rise again. May god be with you in these difficult times, and forever.

Dear Rescue Workers,

Hello, my name is Raquel Maria Lopez. I am 16 years old and I attend school in St. Mary on 3rd Street in downtown Jersey City. I do not mean to take time out of your rescue search but I must tell you one thing - THANK YOU!! Thank you for going out there and trying to help everyone in need. Thank you for trying to find my Aunt Nancy (Farley, 45). Thank you for lending us all your strength and courage. It's all because of YOU, and our FAITH, that we, the families...the survivors...the Americans...find peace in such times. I want you to know that I will light a candle and say a prayer for all of you every night. You are all true ANGELS. You will always hold a special place in my heart! I love you!!

Raquel Maria Lopez
