If this is the same James Ferguson who was an ophthalmologist in Columbia, SC, I want to express my deepest sympathy and even more to let you know that there were many, many people in Columbia who thought very highly of Dr. Ferguson -- employees as well as patients!!! Most of his employees had the utmost respect for him. He was a very honorable man of the highest character.

I`m trying to find out if the John Jenkins reported as one of the passengers on American Airlines flight11 is the same person who lived in Nasville and Atlanta at one time, and was manager of the Marriott in Nashville and Atlanta? Please post, or John, please call Leslye

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of this tragedy, I'm writing from Columbus Ohio and yes its touched every American. I'm believing God will bless you and help you through this time. Jim Roux, from Portland, ME was on United Flight#175. I don't know why he is listed as being on both 11 & 175...am thinking the Associated Press made an error. There was an article re Jim in a Maine paper. I e-mailed to verify that he was on #175. They told me their source was the family. How do you know Jim? I worked with him 2 yrs ago.

My roommate in college was also named JOhn Jenkins. He was originally from New Mexico and Livingston, Montana and we went to ART school in Denver Colorado.

After graduation in 1984, he went to San Francisco area, and then he moved to Atlanta and was an art director for a perfume and makeup company About 1990-1991. ( i just cant think of the name right now)

After 1993, I didnt hear from him anymore.
Is this the same JOHN you are looking for?? Is this the same JOHN on this airplane???

horror,grief, infinite saddnes, its time for the X generation to become the next generation, as veterans know our freedom must be fought for its is not to be taken for granted anymore this cannot be preserved by MTV or hollywood but by our military personel on the battlefield, let us now rally behind our goverment and find comfort in lifes instruction manual the bible.

The John Jenkins I knew would not have been finishing school in 1984. He was much older. But I am not sure if the person on the plane was my friend, or yours, or another John Jenkins. I do appreciate your reply.If I find out anything else,I`ll post the information. Please do the same. Thanks!

This tragic event hit to close to home even for us Canadians. We are all feeling the grief, surprise, scared and anger also. Hundreds of thousands of us watched the memorial day as there were over a hundred thousand on Parliment Hill in Ottawa. This is not over...we are all going to be effected by this in one way or another. My tears are for those that had loved ones lost and also for the pets that are wondering why it is taking so long for their owners/masters to come home!

I am deeply sadened by this tragedy. My heart goes out to those who were involved in this "shouldn't have happened" tragedy. I don't know how you feel but I alone am discusted, scared, and outraged that this happened, although I am not related to any of those people. Still we are one. I feel horrible for these people. I hope we get back at the people who did this 1,000 times worse. I am totally for the United States of America. Let's fight back and get the people who are going to hell anyway, not us.
