I live in a very small town in KY. My dream has always been to go to New York, I hope to go soon. People around here say I am crazy, But now more than ever, I want to see this great city.
I pray for all the families who have lost loved ones, I know it was hard through the holidays, But you will be reunited soon, in a much better place than here. People of NY you are in my thoughts.
I'm from Shreveport, Louisiana. The morning of the attacks was unreal here. My clinic literally went to a standstill. All we could is cry and pray. I had a relative in the Pentagon that made it out safely. If it had not been for that link, I don't think I could comprehend what happened on 9/11. I have never seen a building over 23 stories high and I'm 22. It's still like a dream to me. What disturbed me the most is the horror those poor people had to endure. The horror of looking death in the face and knowing you are about to die is not a feeling I would wish on anyone. In my eyes, all those that died on that are heroes. Those people endured something that the rest of us can only attempt to imagine. My heart, thoughts, prayers and respect goes out to all of the victims and their families.
