I have only one thing to say about the companies that are raising their prices on everything,IT'S A SHAME THAT PEOPLE WILL DO THIS ON EVERYONE ELSE'S PAIN AND SUFFERING TO MAKE MONEY.People shouldnt try to gain money on pain and suffering. To me they are no better then the people that did this to our country.

All this price gouging is just a way to make a quick buck. It disgraces the American business Man. The way I figure it is if I run out of gas Ill walk or ride my bike. People should be more interested in Helping the problem not creating more. I quess those fools missed the section on Business Ethics in school. Its a saying that fits "KILL THEM ALL LET GOD SORT THEM OUT" I pray for everyone effected by this. I just hope and pray we do this time so there wont be a next!!

Words cannot express how angry I am by the actions of Hertz Rental Car company. I went to www.hertz.com (as everyone else should) and send my comments. While others lay awake at night either praying or wondering what we can do to help, it saddens me that companies are doing the same, but they are thinking how they can "make a buck" on this horrific situation. Word of mouth is their worse nightmare. Everyone pass this information around and NEVER rent from Hertz every again. I heard on the way home today that there is a 1-800# for these type of issues. My prayers are with everyone who is looking or lost a loved one.
God Bless,
Michelle

I live in Northeastern Ohio. Gas was selling for up to $6.00 per gallon in Chardon, Ohio. Mayor White of Cleveland has shut down stations that were selling at astronomical prices. currently, it averages $1.60 per gallon.

To blame those of a general nationality, or those of a faith, is to make us as guilty of terrorism as the attackers. Do not force the loyal American citizens, who happened to have been born in another country, or follow a different faith, to suffer fear of terrorism themselves. It is no less a crime, to terrorize those who are innocent with hatred and threats, simply because it is likely that a few from Arabic nations did this horrible thing. Do not let us become the criminals. We are all Americans...And you have only to read the lists of missing, to see how many Arabs were killed in this disaster. They suffer no less for their skin color. Do not recreate the horror of the Japanese internment camps.

My family is praying every day for all of the victims, their families, our country and president. May God be with you all.

On another note, speaking of taking advantage. In a small town just outside Bixby, OK. My husband stopped for gas on Tues. They didn't have any but the guy behind the counter laughed and said that he would sell my husband the gas from his tractor for $5.00 a gal. I think that with an attitude like that at a time like this that, that person is no better than the persons responsible for this attack on America. Shame on people who take advantage. People in Oklahoma should especially be understanding.

It is a shame. If things aren't already. Bad enough! I really thought that there would have been all types of lotting. Thank God there wasn't. We here in the Metro Area reacted properly. I'm proud to say. I also understand that JC Penny has made a large contribution to the Red Cross as well as donations from their local stores in the area with clothing and blankets. We have all rode the gas wars before and lived. Maybe instead of taking out our anger there we should join the any area of the service where it could be used more conviently. Don't allow yourself to be ripped off. Things will get better, hearts will mend. The only thing we will have to deal after that is the scares. They will never go away and for that I am truely sorry.

Looking for a Tech Job!

It seems that there are a lot of empty employment spaces to fill. Yes I am looking for employment.

I feel for everyone involved in this fiasco and wan't to kill those responsable.

I also need to put myself back in the workforce so I can get the respect of my family.

The bottom line is that if you have a company that needs a heavy hitter to regroup in this adverse situation I am available.

I must say that what I have read here about HERTZ was completely different than my experience with them on Tuesday the 11th. I was stranded in Atlanta and as you all know no flights were operating. I live in Huston and I could not find another way home other than renting a car. My company always uses Hertz and so I went there first. I had no reservation and many other people were already waiting on cars. What this company did to help us out blew my mind. They made sure everyone that needed a car and would wait on one got the car they needed. The managers themselves were helping out trying to find people going to the same cities so no one would be left stranded. Also they dropped one way fees and mileage fees for everyone and were charging flat rates of like 50 a day. After speaking to the Hertz represenatives I was told this was a common procedure for Hertz to take in a time of emergency. Of all the company's I dealt with during the crisis this one handled the situation with utmost honor. I think your brothers experience must have came from one person not the Hertz Company

There is a new website that has forums like this. It also has a database of survivors and missing persons (as well as victims). Go to www.dayoftragedy.com

I for one have a positive message to post. My mother owns a florist and when we heard of the tragedy our immediate reaction was What can WE do to help?? We are a very small community but the response has been super!! So far over $800.00 has been raised for the cause!! So we came up with the idea of making Red/White/Blue antenna bows and donating the profits to the victims and their families of this terrible tragedy. For more information go to http://www.planttel.net/bows/ Please pass this URL on. Not only are you getting something but you are helping those in need. Our local isp made this webpage for us and is donating the web space for it. Thank you and May God Bless America!!

I cannot afford to contribute any significant amount of money for the victims relief. But I did have an idea. We sell a odor control enzyme, through our HVAC business, that would reduce odors and potential health hazards in problem areas. I am uncomfortable about exploiting the situation, but cannot afford to give it away, so I plan to discount the product for NYC.
