My sister works for Alaska and I know she is going through quite a difficult time with this crash. I can only imagine how family members of those who perished are coping. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of them. Rest assured, your loved ones are in the arms of angels.

I cant stop thinking about the trauma the people on board went through falling from 17000 ft. It brings tears to my eyes. There were 3 infants on board also. God!! please help the families cope with the tragedies and do something so that such things do not happen in future. This is my prayer.

The camera men, reporters and other members of the media who crowded the arriving family members at SFO and SeaTac like demented ghouls should have been kept far away. I was shocked and disgusted when I witnessed that on the news. That was a new low for the media and we should all be thoroughly disgusted.

I have known the pilot and his family for 20 years...Words absolutely fail me and tears keep flowing..I know that he would have done everything possible to save his passengers..God be with them all and their families. bonnie charlton

To all the people who had loved ones and/or good friends onboard the ill-fated Alaska Airlines flight 261, my heart and deepest sympathy goes out to you. Be grateful for all the wonderful times that you shared together and cherish those precious moments forever.

Steve Wilkie who was one of the passengers aboard this ill-fated flight previously lived and worked in Chicago before moving to San Francisco. The people who knew him and his loving and caring personality hopes his wife and family can find comfort in knowing he was someone who touched many people through his too short life. My heart-felt sympathy goes out to everyone who lost a friend or relative on this flight.

I wish to express my deepest sympathy to everyone who had loved ones on the Alaska Air flight. I did not know anyone on the flight, but it is a terrible tragedy when we lose so many dear people. I hope and pray that the departed will rest in peace and that those who have suffered losses will remember all the joy and good times they shared with those people. May they forever Rest in Peace.

I, like not doudt many others, never gave any real thought about the people involved in a plane crash until TWA Flight #800. While watching the news stories I was very surprised to see a photo of one of my high school class mates and team mates flashed on the screen. He, his wife and daughter were on the plane.

I now know that for every soul on board there is a family, a group of friends, a company, a neighborhood, a school et al that loves and misses them......and that while I may not know some one on Flt 261 there is a very good chance I know some one who did......
