To all those concerned about Taiwan's quake, this is news from 45 km's from the Epicentre. There is considerable damage and some fatalities, however such extraordinary events are always followed by community love and caring, which is the best thing I've ever seen in Taiwan. Unfortunately, we've been briefed that this earthquake was but a foreshock and the big one might be hitting around saturday, this week (25/9/99) so peace be with all, and have faith in the future.

I'm looking to donate things(tents, blankets,ect.)
to the people in turky. I can only find organizations that will take money. If anyone knows of an organization that takes items please let me know as soon as possible.

I was part of the Swedish Rescue Team in Turkey, as an rescuedog handler, and I want to thank all Turkey people for all help and support, ...you give my dog your last drop of water you give him your bread, despite that you know that you need it as much as him. Now when I think back of our mission I wonder if we could done some more...I dont know, but I thinking all nights.
I still have my dog in a quarenteen and I miss him so much... we left together, work side by side, eat and drank from same bowl, sleep head to head... but we could'nt get home together, I had to leave him for 4 month in quarenteen.... but soon it's December 21 and we can celibrate X-mas togheter.
