Have made contact with family in Feng Yuan, Taichung Hsien. They have survived without suffering serious injuries or fatalities, but do have damaged homes with loss of possessions. Unsuccessfully attempting to make contact with family in Ching Hsueh and Hsinchu to determine their condition.

If anyone has any information about how Pan Chiao was affected by the quake, I would much appreciate any news, either posted here or e-mailed to me directly. I taught for Hess Language School (Chong Ching branch) from 11/94-6/96, and I'm concerned about friends and former students in the area. You're in my thoughts.
