Have just received confirmation via email from Dwight and Beckie Johnson, staff members at Morrison Academy, that everyone at the Academy is fine. They are assisting neighbors in the community whose homes have suffered damage. For the most part the people around them living in 1-4 story buildings had very little damage. Higher buildings suffered more damage. You may contact me privately for copies of the email if you wish.

For Emergency Family Messages also include:

Nature of the emergency
What you want the person told about the emergency

All live in T'aichung. Edward and Shawn's American Family is sincerely worried and praying for them. Lay off Kelli Baker. This is hardly the time to engage in Christian Bashing.
