My name is Andrew Wolstenholme and I am a final year geography student at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. As part of my course I have to write a dissertation, a 10,000 word research project on a topic of my choice. The title of project is "A risk perception analysis of hurricanes in Southeast Florida". I will be sending out a mail questionnaire to residents in Southeast Florida soon, if anybody reading this message would be willing to take part in my survey, could they please contact me at a.g.wolstenholme@ncl.ac.uk
The survey will be totally confidential, any names or personal details that you provide will not be published. If you know of anybody that may be willing to take part please ask them to contact me also. Those taking part will receive a copy of the work upon request following its completion (March 2000 at the latest)I would appreciate any response.
Yours sincerely,
Andrew Wolstenholme.
The Nicaraguan government issued a tropical storm warning for the country's entire east coast from the Honduran border to the Coast Rican border, meaning that tropical storm conditions could be expected within 24 hours.
The tropical depression will become Tropical Storm Katrina if winds reach 39 mph
hurricanes are very deadly.
