THIS IS AN UPDATE TO THE FAMILY OF MADELINE RIOS. I MADE A MISTAKE OF THE LOCATION OF HER FAMILY I THOUGHT THEY WERE IN SAN GENMAN WHEN THEY ARE REALLY IN SAN SEBASTIAN. THIS IN KNOW WAY TAKES AWAY THE FACT THAT I WISH EVERYONE IN PUERTO RICO ONLY THE BEST DURING THIS STORM. AGAIN LET ME SAY THAT GOD BE WITH YOU ALL;AND AS ALWAYS WE ARE HERE TO HELP ANYONE THAT MAY BE IN NEED OF ASSTANCE.
Writing from St. Thomas- the day was relatively calm with a few rain showers and strong gust. Went out around 6 pm and I did not see any thing damaged- houses were fine, trees and beach... It started raining around 6.30 om and is still raining 4 hours later- and doesn't look like it is letting up. We are all glab the hurricane did not affect us and pray for the other islands that it is passing. Will write again in the morning, when I can see the effects of the large amount of rain we are experiencing.
What is the word on Paradise Island? At what point is the area shut down and resorts closed? We are due for our first vacation in ten years starting Sept 3rd.
What is the weather like in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic? My sister left today on her honeymoon.
