CAT ISLAND STATUS:

I just received word from a pilot that just flew back this morning. No serious injuries nor deaths on Cat Island. The north end was hit worse than the south, as far as damage. Charter planes are flying people out from Cat Island to Nassau, so that they can catch the regular flights out.

Rockland County Status - minor damage so far (4:46) few trees down, brook and lake in Monsey overflowed, water and fish in peoples basements, a few windows knocked down, a few leaky roofs!!

Most businesses closed!

Need to know if ferries to Hope Town are up and running. Have received a message that we need to come to Hope town as soon as we can to deal with damaged boat.

need any imfo on Sunshine Beach area of Abaco Island. This is near Elboe Cay. Fly over stated house was still standing but can't find out about any possible damage..can anyone help!

I have received records and pictures showing parts of Treasure Cay, especially Atlantis

The docks have been damaged considerably, some boats have gone down, at least on is on the grass....
Apparently, no roofs down, only few damaged.

Approximately one foot of water on the ground level of Atlantis and RoyalPalm villas.
Some trees down.

Summary: better than what we expected from a hurricane like Floyd

US Air told me that they have flights going into Governour's Harbour today.

American told me that there flights will resume on Saturday
