We are planning a trip to Sint Maarten (Pelican Resort @ Simpson Bay). Can anyone tell us if it will allow travelers on December 5? What should we expect? (water, electricity, roads, etc.)

I'm looking for information on Anguilla...Jean Louis Bessala @ Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School. Tell him I'm waiting for his call. Also, a very nice lady named Jackie who runs a restaurant on the Island, sorry I don't know the name. My prayers to everyone on the islands.

This info is from a resident in Guana Bay. A transformer was struck by
lightning early in the storm so no electricity since Tuesday. We had guests
who left by car early this morning to go to the airport and try to get on a
flight to US. Their plan was to go on the north side of Food Fair and
through Middle Region, we have not had word from them. There is electricity
from Sea Palace on Front Street to Great Bay Hotel. Sang's grocery was open
Saturday with minimal supplies.

AA has a plane arriving today from Miami with techicians to get the
equipment at the airport ready for them to resume flights. Two flights are
schedules to arrive on Monday. A charter flight left St. Maarten on
Saturday with tourists, probably to Brazil or another country than the US.

The Dutch Marines have arrived with supplies and large pumps to get water
out of the Salt Pond. Flooding is still a major problem

It is a sunny day on the island.

Anyone have any information on St. Martin - French Side - Blue Bay Village/Mt Vernon Resort for damages sustained during the hurricane? Is it worthwhile to plan a trip there over the next couple of weeks or go elsewhere.
Thanks

Looking for information on Divi Little Bay on St.Maarten. All the information we are receiving here in the States is sketchy and mixed as far as conditions are concerned.
