Badly informed one : I have friends in Monte Negro
- you want me to believe you, and that they are lying ? Also, I was on the phone with Miha in Slovenia when the Slovenian paramilitary (or whatever their name was) without any warning attacked those kids (18 years old ones) who were about to pull out since NATO-EU gave you desired
independence. We all know how the rest of the republics weren't happy about having to contribute
for the poor Kosovo-it was always just a Serbian
problem. But I shouldn't continue,because it will
go endlessly.
Why - if they are so generous (EU countries) not
to give independence to all of the groups who are seeking it within their borders.
IRA and Ireland are not a minor problem to sideline it. There are constant killings.
Europe has 100's of thousands of refugees from
Albania. When the KLA started new offensive last year - the first thing that was reported on CNN
was the cost of keeping all that population of
non-workers.
It's known how it works - you declare yourself a refugee and make up things to keep you 'cause it
will provide you with the housing and social security; can you get that in Albania? You can
in Serbia, though not as fancy as in the "west".

The Serbian (or how it's popular to refer always to " mighty " Milosevic)Government offered
full independence to Kosovo Albanians as well as to other nationalities, but with international
observers and international UN troops,and NATO
said: it's us or bombs plus full independence for the Albanians.
The bombs-war started and civilians in beetwen.
KLA is helped with the bombing, civilians were not.
US government is helping to arm KLA (listen closely NATO- press conference, I'm on it every day on CNN) but are not as efficient in sending help for the poor people of Albania, and now the refugees.
All the reports should get connected somehow on the subject of the number of people crossing the borders too, because there are huge discrepancies.
In yesterdays' Spanish papers (again,it wasn't
a state run media! or maybe it was only the Spanish one!)the report from the Red Cross at the Macedonian border was that they prepared ten thousand beds for the coming refugees,and they still don't have a single bed occupied.

please don't tell me there are no Albanian brutal
massacres on other nationalities,including Serbian. Have you seen Richard Blystones' reports
from the Kosovo on CNN.
Anyway,CNN is a special case on it's own.
Like a totally useless UN. Shame not everybody was able to see two programs about that organisation
on BBC2 a few years ago. They go to troubled
places and use millions of dollars for their own comfort. And on their doorsteps are homeless, hungry, needy.
What about England defending Falklands? Do we know what it was all about?
Why did the Pentagon deny bombing oil supply in Iraq that was providing for the food and medicine of the poor Iraqi people - for THREE days.
Have a look at the back pages of the "Independent" from yesterday. Have a look everywhere; you can't
always be sure who is " running the show ".

Did you know that the Croatian army was shelling civilians of Trebinje and surrounding areas from...Dubrovnik, thinking that the other side would not respond because of all of Dubrovnik's glory, well they were crazy enough to do it. You tell me how you weigh these two actions.

The biggest worry of the Western tv stations now is they don't have journalists inside and they can't show a close up look of what is happening. CNN just waits for another bad news. They so enjoyed Dianas death, O. J. Simpson and Louise Woodword trial. And of course war. The more the better. Blood sells well. You want close ups on peoples misery, Serbian and Albanian? You want more corps and more blood? This isn't a Hollywood movie for gods sake. You certainly are not looking for the truth but a way to prolong this war. I hear one of the directors of the company that is making those cruises today said they will have a great profit if this goes on for a couple more week, maybe months. This is what I call capitalism at it's finest.
