"What was NATO, then, supposed to do there?"

You asked me that before..... And as I said Nato is stuck in the middle trying to make effing sense of it all, whilst Serbia and Russia are jumping about like schoolkids in the playground going
"you can't do it" and making the situation in Kosovo a damned sight worse.

The question remains, could they do any better?
And would they even bother to try, I have little confidence they could/would do either.
Call me vindictive, but they haven't given much cause for confidence.

But, hey, what about the NATO-Serbian Agreement?
What about it?
The game Milosovich is playing has nothing to do with resettling those ethnic groups you are talking about. This is all about getting back at Nato and the Albanians.
How about we stop using one crime to justify another and start talking about a sensible solution?

* Yeah, the agreement. And Milo's not playing - he pursues the agreement, signed and stamped. He's got the right given to him as Head of State. If NATO/US were stupid enough to step into the pile of crap they shouldn't wonder why it "smells" around them, and no warm shower around - just a cold one.
Getting back at the Albanians? Heh. You are not going to start with those "massacre/genocide" sheaisms, aren't You;o))
Don't "worry", they'll get resettled.
Think that, as soon as Serb troops are in Kosovo, KLA may turn at NATO. And it may be NATO to get "cleansed", and cretino Clark (or US alone) may use it as excuse to bomb Serbia again (with usual sheaisms), which may at worst lead to ... .

Whilst I'm here, will someone please tell me why the hell Europe should
hand over money to a country that wants to tear it apart?
* I think, there's an answer for it on the other board.

Not that I could see.

Of course the question should read:Why would(not should) Europe hand money to a country trying to break it up. The answer is it wouldn't and it isn't, because this is just more Rhetoric.
(The EU makes a pretty good market for all that oil and gas.)
What exactly is a multi-polar world and which countries share the honour of being Poles?
The ones with the biggest handouts for Russia?

"He's got the right given to him as Head of State."

and that seems to be all he cares about.

Kissie, what exactly do you expect to happen when the KLA meets the Serb army.

"massacre/genocide" sheaisms"
Its the pro-Serbian lot, that keep going on about that, to divert attention from the fact, that the Serbian army spent several months harassing the Albanian population without mercy. Not the actions of a responsable government. So now they'll have to supress even harder to control the region.

"as soon as Serb troops are in Kosovo"
So why let them in in the first place?

* Yes! To make sense out of it's "senseless" affair. Or to pretend that it makes sense.:o)))
Serbia "jumping about"! Woah! A State being robbed of a piece of its land, and not "jumping about"?!:o)))

that "piece of land" being more important than its occupants!!!!!!!!!

Why don't they start negotiating about a return to Serbian rule, before they march back in? They might lose less of their Army. Or is that what this is all about anyway:o)))
