Antonio , do you really think there is some kind of evil doings behind the census? If you think so, do you know the census has been asking the exact same questions every ten years since 1950. Plus you got to love the congressmen who complain about specific questions now when they all were able to pre-view the forms something like 10 months ago. There is no dark conspiracy behind the census.
now this is HILLARIOUS..really

Bernstein I will tell you where I am TORONTO.Come and see me.You stinking son of a •••••.
About Council: like some people here said - who needs it. It's kinda like seeing bunch of midgets telling a giant that he can't be friend of theirs..funny.
We must say enough - we will do without you - European teachers," said Russian State Duma speaker Gennady Seleznyov, commenting on what is happening at a PACE session, where a draft resolution was amended to say that the PACE recommends the Council of Europe Council of Ministers to immediately start the procedure for terminating Russia's membership of the Council of Europe.
Seleznyov told a news conference that "so long as Europe lives by double standards - fainting at every US brow-tightening - such decisions will keep being adopted".
According to him, this is "humiliation of an economically weakened major European country". He emphasised that Russians are a kind people, but "we will soon rebel - the time of the fools will pass".
Gennady Seleznyov is "against Europe issuing an ultimatum to Russia and setting deadlines for ending military operations in Chechnya".
"We are fighting terrorism which is today pestering Russia," Seleznyov said, "but God forbid they may also show to Europe tomorrow what they are in fact".
He emphasised that "all civilised countries are fighting international terrorism with all available means".
Seleznyov made the point that "Europe will be making a tremendous and colossal mistake if it opens the procedure of removing Russia from the European Union".
Such moves, in the speaker's view, are evidence that "the West is taking revenge on us for Russia having been right that the Yugoslav issue cannot be solved by force".
"Now they have seen that in the case of Yugoslavia we were right," Seleznyov said. "And now, to steer public opinion from that problem, they have decided to rivet the world's attention to Chechen bandits". He emphasised that Europe "has done practically nothing for Chechnya's civilian population".
Speaking of PACE recommendations, Seleznyov said: "They have forgotten with whom they are dealing. Russia will do without them, but they, having robbed Russia, will still pause and think how to act further". He said, "the sky has not fallen on earth from the PACE decision, but they have made a historical mistake".
The steps taken against Russia by the Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly "are cause for concern," a Russian Foreign Ministry official told Interfax on Thursday.
Russia is thoroughly studying the resolutions passed by the Assembly, the official said, and Moscow's official response will follow later.
Russia will probably take retaliatory steps, other sources have said.
"Our reaction ill be proportional to everything, including the beating," the Foreign Ministry source said, in reference to the attack upon Gadzhi Makhachev, a member of the Russian parliamentary delegation, in the Strasbourg-based Palace of Europe from a person identified as Tutakov and known to be a representative of Chechen rebel leader Aslan Maskhadov.
PACE condemned Russian for its anti-terrorist action in Chechnya and called on its foreign ministers to start the procedure for suspending Russia.
The Russian delegation at the PACE session today filed its official protest against the presence of emissaries of the Chechen gunmen in the hall. RIA Novosti learned this from Aleksandra Buratayeva, Vice Chairman of the Duma international affairs committee, who is member of the Russian delegation.
What served as a pretext for the protest was the outrageous behaviour of one of the so-called "representatives of Aslan Maskhadov" who first tried by his shouts to interfere with Gadzhi Makhachev, deputy of the Russian State Duma from Daghestan, who was delivering a speech from the rostrum, and then began a fight with him in the corridor.
The emissary of the Chechen gunmen did not like that the representative of Daghestan described to the audience the crimes that Shamil Basayev's and Khattab's gangs committed when they invaded the territory of that North Caucasian republic.

By IGOR ( - 206.47.244.62) on Thursday, April 6, 2000 - 08:13 pm: I am glad Russia got kicked out of Council of Europe.
Igor, Russia is out, you're glad. In, I suppose, you're glad, too. Whatever is going on with your country, you enjoy the ride. You are very festive man.
Btw, Russia is not yet suspended, it's only a recommendation, which might be very well not accepted. It's too early for sour grapes.
Federal relief allocations to Chechnya approached six billion roubles, roughly US$200 million, from January into March, Colonel General Valery Manilov, First Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, said to a Russian Information Centre news conference.
144,054 refugees have returned for today. 261 factories recommensed work, and another 26 will be recommissioned quite soon. Chechnya had a total 453 industrial projects before anti-terrorist hostilities opened.
A big hospital reopened in Gudermes, the republic's second-largest city, through rehabilitation efforts to which entire Russia contributed. 44 out of a total 62 hospitals are performing again.
209 out of Chechnya's 275 schools are working.
All schools and hospitals in the breakaway republic had long stood under lock before counterterrorist action started, said General Manilov.
To Igor
