Now, can we go back to 1920's when the revolution started in Russia, Do you know what Stallin did to make the revolution succeed ? He killed MILLIONS of people.

REVOLUTION STARTED IN 1917, AND LENIN (german communist spy) WAS THE ONE WHO STARTED IT.

Roger, BraveHeart, igor et al -

The discussion on this board has deteriorated beyond repair. How can one seriously discuss things with somebody saying something like "most Russian men are terrorists"? (And why, pray tell me, do you put "prostitutes" on the same page? Prostitutes force nobody to buy their services; terrorists force people to die...). Neither does it help when somebody else replies with patented anti-semitic nonsense...
As a Russian (mostly Russian; Polish, Lithuanian, German and Swedish as well, in small installments, if somebody is waiting for a full disclosure) American, I certainly have difficult time accepting the grotesque portrayal of the Third/Fourth Wave immigrant communities as well.
The Russian-Jewish folks I know in Boston, Seattle and San Francisco are mostly computer programmers, biochemists and stock brokers. If they are also moonlighting as gangsters and prostitutes, we all have to learn from them how to schedule our time...
Anyway, I feel already stupid agruing. Bye.
K.

P.S. While the Vietnam War was a failure both in performance and in some ideological aspects (we had the draft, compulsory service, at that time),
I cannot accept the notion that Vietnam and Korea were the same things for US as Afghanistan for USSR. Quite simply, Moscow was spreading the most murderous regime in the history of humanity, Washington tried to stop it from spreading...Saying that "things are the same" requires little mental effort, but it shows a terrible moral rot.
The violence against Native Americans or blacks, for example, is a very real, shameful part of history in some parts of the USA. But to equate these things to the monstrous machine of determined, systematic mass-murder built by communists in the USSR, China or Cambodia is just utterly dishonest.
It was said long time ago, that "in the end, all morality boils down to the sense of proportion"...

US Warns of Possible Terrorist Attacks

(AP) - The State Department's warning that terrorists could strike at large holiday gatherings abroad is cause for caution but not panic, top U.S. officials said Sunday. Their comments came a day after the State Department cited ``credible evidence'' in warning of terrorist threats aimed at Americans traveling abroad for millennial celebrations. But Secretary of State Madeline Albright stopped short of advising year's end revelers to stay home. More...

All I can say, I'm scared for russia's future. That country is going nowhere..so Putin is going to be a next President? Hmm..this man has not mercy, no diplomacy. A man like him cannot be a president. He is a devil who has killed so many innocent people. If russia would be a good country we would not want to get independent from them. We should do everything to get away from russia. We are fed up with all these wars. How many more people have to die before we get independent? How much more we have to pay for our independence?

Russia a great country

Dont think so
The russians claimed to have won the battle of urus -martan
but what is the reality of strategical withdrawment.
they trying to win the heart and minds of the people on the propoganda battlefront.

who do they take them for.... sheep?
they may be trying to win the battle but the war is not over.

All the pro- russians and commies out there get ready for a really big surprise this month.
