You just don't get it, do you. Where do you get your information, Kavkaz.org? Muslims are treated no different in Russia then people of any other belief. This war is not against muslims, but against a group of Chechen criminals who have been looting, kidnapping, torturing, and killing innocent civilians for years. Do you know how many people have been kidnapped & had their fingers cut off, beheaded, etc. These bandits didn't even have any problems invading their muslim neighbors - Dagestan.

A U.S. missionary was released from captivity in the breakaway republic of Chechnya on Tuesday, following a seven-month ordeal in which his captors cut off one his fingers to press their ransom demands. "I am very happy to be back," said Herbert Gregg, 51. He arrived in Moscow with Russian soccer player Sergei Medvekov, who was also released by the Chechen kidnappers. A Russian Interior Ministry official said Russian security forces secured Gregg's release. Kidnappers release gruesome videotape Gregg was abducted last November from the southern Caucasus republic of Dagestan, where he and his wife Linda, taught English for the U.S.-based Evangelical Alliance Mission. He was taken to neighboring Chechnya and systematically beaten and tortured by his captors. On April 12, the kidnappers videotaped Gregg as they cut off his right index finger and made him plead for the ransom to be paid. "The situation is very serious," Gregg said on the tape. "Today they cut off my finger because no one acted quickly in relation to money. "The situation is that without money, a lot of money, that a finger will go each time at certain time periods. So the situation is very serious. My health is weak, and I'm in very, very somber straits, to tell you the truth."
