THE SO FAR LIVING CHECHEN FIELD COMMANDERS
A Terrorists File
Dozens of field commanders have been physically annihilated by the federal troops since the start of the counter-terroriså operation in Chechnya. But even more are still at large. Moreover, new names and conspiratorial names of 'Amirs', 'front commanders' and 'Ichkeria's defenñe ministers' come to the surface every day - all of them making their money by robbery and violence. The majority of them have criminal records, appreciable experience of guerilla warfare and a resultant authority.
The Russian secret services have just provided Utro with the latest information about those field commanders who are still living and resisting the federal troops.
Leaders of Illicit Armed Formations (typically, they are 'ministers' in the Dudayev and Maskhadov governments, 'brigadier and division generals', 'commanders of regiments and separate brigades', etc.):
1. Mezhidov, Abdul-Malik, a close associate of Gelayev, former deputy minister of Shariah security. Participated in Basayev's raid on Budennovsk in 1995. Was in charge of General Gennady Shpigun's abduction March 5, 1999 at the Grozny airport. Participated in the invasion in Daghestan in August 1999. Intelligence data indicate that he led his band into Ingushetia several times this past fall.
2. Abdulkhadzhiyev, Aslambek, a.k.a. Bolshoi (Big). An old friend of Basayev's. Participated in the war in Abkhazia in the early 1990s as a member of Shamil Basayev's 'separate battalion'. Led his unit out of the besieged Grozny in February 2000. Stayed in the mountains near Shatoi in spring and fall of this year. May be hiding in Georgia, intelligence data indicate.
3. Abou Abdullah Jafar, a Pakistani citizen, Pashtoo by nationality, a member of the terrorist grouping al Badr (Full Moon). Is known as a sponsor of Khattab's, transferred tens of thousands of bogus dollars to Chechnya. Fought under Khattab in Daghestan; was in charge of a unit of 200 Arab mercenaries. There is data to indicate that he may still be in Chechnya.
4. Abou Dar (Darr), a citizen of Saudi Arabia. A representative of the extremist organisation al-Kharamein that sponsors terrorists. Is believed to be a close friend of Arbi Barayev. In late June 2000, was encircled with a unit of Arabs near the village of Serzhen-Yurt in Chechnya's Shali District. Broke through the encirclement with a group of fighters after a weeklong combat. May be staying in a unit of Khattab's.
5. Abou Umar, one of the most sanguinary of Khattab's lieutenants. A top-notch expert and instructor of mining. Mined roads in Grozny way back in 1995. Participated in the attack on the Buinaksk army garrison in 1998, was wounded by a mine explosion. Personally instructs groups of terrorists to be spirited into Russia. The secret services indicate that his people staged the act of terrorism May 31, 2000 in Volgograd that killed two and wounded 12 military construction engineers. Trained nearly all bombers who staged acts of terrorism in Chechnya and elsewhere in the North Caucasus.

The Akhmadov brothers are Abou, Rizvan, Ramzan, Uvais, Ruslan and Apti. Executed three Brits and a New Zealander by decapitating them. Abducted Polish citizens Sofia Fischer-Malanowska and Ewa Marhwinska-Wirwal in the vicinity of the Daghestani village of Gunib in 1999. * Finally those damn names...
It is damned, - not damn. (Learn thy English.) And the same pumpkin-heads. Your brave "brethren" blew up a gas pipeline. Did they do any harm to the R. Army? No, they "bravely" sunk their own brethren into cold. Following Your thinking, You should rejoice. But, of course, some of those pumpkin-heads, that landed in UAE (it seems the Gulf is becoming a kind of a cesspool for folks kicked out or deposed.) will definitely claim it "a major victory", videotaped perfecto to fish for some Gulf cash support for Your mujahedeen "Salvation Army" (LOL).

That is a good idea. Beating the pumpkin works.
