I agree that majority of Russian people are nice and friendly. I actually worked with a few of them, and they were no different than anyone else. But I still think Russian political system is evil, that is, not bringing best out of Russian people, and creating endless suffering for the Russian people and their neighbours.

Chechya independence shouldn't mean that non-Chechens should leave the country. That would be racist, and no-one would support that. After the 94-96 war, Russians continued to live in Chechya, and there is no indication that this will change soon, despite the Russian propaganda.

Please understand that, when I say Russian, that means Russian Government, Army, intelligence organisations, etc. I don't mean the Russian people.

And you are right again, when you said not all Russians are bad, and not all Chechens are good. I don't believe it is wise to generalise. I can see that you are a good person. I know during war time, it is difficult to be normal, and war usually brings out the worst of the people, but it is encouraging to see some good people on the other side of the argument.
