Amrina,
I hate western patience with russia. Well, I know russia has bombs. So West is scared. But the little country is fighting and I'm proud of them.
Once again, specially for you: Chechen terrorists are killing their own civilians, they've ATTACKED Dagestan, Dagestan people didn't want it, terrorists were killing peaceful people of other countries, kidnapping innocent, they are not supported by peaceful Chechens, who want only to live and work peacefully.
You all guys seem to ignore it. Of course, it's easier just to ignore.
balalaika,

You found the most objective source of information, thank you. 🙂
The news about basaev wound is quite likely to be another gossip from the russian kgb
You probably are offering to us to read all news from www.kavkaz.org, don't you?
Ultra,
Ok, peace then? 🙂 If you don't mind, I'd like to continue the discussion.
Do i think real Communism is possible? Im believing that it will be better than what is going on right now. Perhaps have same line of Govt. as China, and prosper like Chinese too.
You see, that relative prosperity of USSR was based at the beliefs of people that someday communism will be. And that's why they worked so hard, ignoring materialistic values. But now I think nobody believes that real communism is possible anymore(including you), because of people's nature.
China is using capitalism's technologies in economics, that's why it is prosperous.
Let Putin prove himself Great Communist
Who was Great Communist? Lenin? Stalin? Brezhnev or someone else? (and why) I'm not ironizing, I'm asking.
or Great President leading Russia into prosperous future. So far i havent seen second one, what about the first?
I prefer second one. But Putin has to explain Unity's actions to people, or people will feel themselves cheated (like I do).
John Armstrong,
You've got a sense of humor, indeed. 🙂
Stanislav
P.S. Guys, what is so good in shouting at each other? Slovak, do you feel yourself good after being kicked out here? It's some kind of masochism, I've already told it.
In Moscow, Malik Saidullayev, a Russian businessman the Kremlin intends to install as the the republic's leader after the war, told the Echo of Moscow radio station he planned to go to Grozny January 24 or 25 to open negotiations with rebel Chechen President Aslan Maskhadov.
The rebels, however, do not recognise Saidullayev as a legitimate go-between -- and have threatened to shoot him dead should he step on Chechen soil.
2 Fenriz,
>>> I can provide some parts from the article where this idiot simply does not know basic historical facts then quoting some events as far as 13 century.
Would you please do this. I am very curious in your proof. Thank you!!
stanislav: it doesn't matter if i was kicked because i don't care at all. it's all the russian view here anyway. it's a russian problem, that's normal that you don't want to hear any criticizing on you country. who would like it. but because most russians here don't accept any other opinions than only from russian-view, i will be talking my opinions on purpose.

>> It just occured to me, you Balalaika are another Muslim fanatic.
you missed the target, try again
2 Balalaika,
>>you missed the target, try again
Okay, then. When you go to bed tonight repeat 10 times to yourself: "Allah does not exist. I am feeling better now". In the morning you maybe cured.
Your Armenian doctor.
Also you can easy prove I am wrong. Just post this: "I don't believe in Allah."
Dear Balalayka,
Judging on your deep posts on this board, I'm not really sure if I should respond to you at all, but since you are SO curious...
I have to search the Web for a bit for "the lost article" since as i said it was pulled out, but I try.
Meanwhile check out one of the numerous responses to that, apparently written by Ottawa Citizen newspaper EDITOR!!!:
Don't forget Russia's
contribution to science
Michael Vranesh
The Ottawa Citizen
Further to John Robson's vulgar and poisonous diatribe
against Russian people and culture ("Russia under Putin
will suck, as always," Jan. 7) and a page of rightly
indignant letters Jan. 11, one additional factor should be
mentioned: Russian contributions in science and
technology.
The letters appropriately referred to unsurpassed Russian
achievements in literature, music and dance, but omitted to
mention notable Russian contributions in science and
technology.
Apparently, it had not occurred to Mr. Robson (even the
Citizen, his employer, labelled his prejudiced and
offensive column "Robson's rant") to consider weighty
Russian contributions in science and technology by such
notables as Dmitri Mendelev (who developed the concept
of periodic law and predicted properties of elements yet
unknown), Konstantin Tsiolkovsky (who developed
mathematical theory of rocket flight and designed
practical rockets), Igor Sikorsky (who developed the
multi-motored plane and a prototype helicopter) and
Vladimir Zworykin (who developed an electrical eye and
cathode-ray tube for television receivers).
On the basis of the scientific work of Mikhail Lomonosov,
the "universal Russian" (whose 18th-century experiments
anticipated mechanical nature of heat and kinetic theory of
gases), these four Russian theorists and inventors
illustrate the degree of Russian contributions to modern
chemistry, rocketry, aeronautics and physics. Their work
led to the development of the periodic table,
self-propulsion of rockets and artificial satellites
(including Sputniks), multi-engine planes, modern
helicopters and televisions.
Their discoveries and contributions were augmented by
their co-nationals, such as a biologist Ilya Metchnikov
(Nobel laureate for work on immunity), physiologist Ivan
Pavlov (Nobel Laureate for work on digestive glands),
physicist Pavel Cherenkov (Nobel laureate for
"Cherenkov effect"), physicists Ilya Frank and Igor Tamm
(Nobel laureates for work on high energy particles and
cosmic radiation), physicist Nikolai Kurchatov (research
in atomic energy), physicist Sergei Korolyov (noted for
research in space exploration) and physicist Peter Kapitza
(noted for research in magnetic and electric properties of
matter at low temperatures).

Fenriz
Slovak,
it's a russian problem, that's normal that you don't want to hear any criticizing on you country.
I don't hear any criticizing. I hear SIEG HEIL only.
who would like it.
No one, being healthy, likes Hitler.
but because most russians here don't accept any other opinions than only from russian-view, i will be talking my opinions on purpose.
I accept any opinions, that is proved and provided with arguments. But if you call words like "m#&$cker" an opinion, then it's hard to talk.
What is your opinion about current situation, what should Russia do and why? I'm waiting for your answer.
Stanislav
2 Fenriz,
You promised to provide "some parts from THE ARTICLE", claiming that it did not match russian history, etc. Insted, you have posted russian reply, but this is not what YOU PROMISED.
I still humbly hope that your would keep your promise about the article, and dispute the original (or its part about "13 century").
>>> I can provide some parts from the article where this idiot simply does not know basic historical facts then quoting some events as far as 13 century.
2 Fenriz Culto,
>>>Judging on your deep posts on this board, I'm not really sure if I should respond to you at all, but since you are SO curious...
Why bother. This guy is just another militant muslim whos nickname stands for Russian music instrument. At the same time he says "nothing good ever came out of Russia". It is enough for contradiction. It is sufficient to say that he is a very sick person.
"But now I think nobody believes that real communism is possible anymore(including you), because of people's nature.
China is using capitalism's technologies in economics, that's why it is prosperous."
Yes, i still think Communism will work in Russia, i think it should have some Capatalism in it like China, and prosper like Chinese. Hell, might even pull it off without that Capatilist ••••. Great Communists were Lenin, who helped found the movement in Russia, Stalin who helped industrialize Russia, and Brezhnev who led Russia through golden prosperous times. Nikita Kruschev, and Gorbachev i cant stand. Gorbachev because he ended it all and didnt know what he got himself into. Putin, yes he should explain actions, and i am sorry you might feel cheated, but he will make me feel better if he confirms that he too is with Communists.
ULTRA, Since you are not in Cuba, could you please post your opinion on Balalaika's mental health? 🙂
What about it, last time we spoke we were neutral. Why instigate further problems when you can make friends from enemies or at least be neutral? Just like Russia didnt do anything until Chechens attacked first, i wont do anything until someone opens their mouth first. And why must i necessarily be in Cuba, why not in China, Vietnam or North Korea for example?

>>>ULTRA, Since you are not in Cuba, could you please post your opinion on Balalaika's mental health? 🙂
Dear ARA, why you are not comfortable with my mental healt? Any reason?! If there is no one,- no comments...
ULTRA,
North Korea is even better! Sorry I forgot about this wonderful place!
It also would be nice to see how U R N makes friends with one sick muslim fanatic.
