The captured General Malofeyev is still alive but his medical shape is
still serious because of the injuries he has received during a Russian
bombardment of the place where he is kept. The Kremlin keeps on trying to
kill Malofeyev by attacking the mountain villages where he is supposed to
be imprisoned with bomber planes and 'Skad' rockets.

In Dzhokhar the heavy fighting continued during the last day. The Russians
attacked in Khankala, in the 56th District, in Staraya Sunsha, in the
Staropromyshlovsky District, near Chernorechye and near the tinning
factory. All these attacks have been repulsed.
The Chechens are in control of the town, and special units of the
Mujahideen carry out actions behind the Russian lines.
In Tashkala a Russian tank column has been attacked. Four armoured vehicles
have been knocked out. In the 56th district the Mujahideen attacked a
Russian marine infantry unit and killed more than 40 Russians.
Face-to-face combat in Staraya Sunsha and in the 3rd Micro-District - the
Chechens lost 5 men here, the Russians about 70.
All in all, during the last 24 hours in Dzhokhar the Russians suffered more
than 300 casualties, 17 armoured vehicles have been knocked out.
9 Mujahideen died, 15 were wounded.

According to the leader of the committee of foreign affairs of the Chechen
parliament, Akhyad Idigov, an official Chechen delegation has arrived at
the Council of Europe. Their aim is to enlighten this institution on the
real situation in Chechnya and to appeal for the exclusion of Russia. They
want to throw light on the Russian war-crimes: the killing of innocent
people, the robbery and the marauding in the occupied territories. In this
territories concentration camps have been set up, even special
concentration camps for children. The Chechen delegation's intention is to
meet with various delegations of the Council of Europe.

The Argun Valley is in control of the Mujahideen. Though the Putin regime
has concentrated 40,000 troops there, the Chechens resist all the Russian
attacks there and perform counter-attacks. The last day about 130 Russian
died on this battle field. The Mujahideen are in control of several
important heights near Duba-Yurt. Yesterday a Russian attack has been
repulsed their.

In the Vedeno Valley the situation remains stable. The Mujahideen have
withdrawn from Vedeno two weeks ago in order to occupy more advantageous
positions. But only yesterday the Russians dared to move into the town.

Near Serzhen-Yurt the Chechens are retaining the military initiative -
every movement of the Russians is stopped by Chechen attacks. In the fights
in the Argun Valley and in the Vedeno Valley 7 mujahideen died during the
last day.

Sir George Bernard Shaw

If any religion had the chance of ruling over England, nay Europe within the next hundred years, it could be Islam."
"I have always held the religion of Muhammad in high estimation because of its wonderful vitality. It is the only religion which appears to me to possess that assimilating capacity to the changing phase of existence which can make itself appeal to every age. I have studied him - the wonderful man and in my opinion far from being an anti-Christ, he must be called the Savior of Humanity."
"I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness: I have prophesied about the faith of Muhammad that it would be acceptable to the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to be acceptable to the Europe of today."

Enough of this religious crap when you die you are dead. You can fantasize all you want about heaven or hell but the fact of them matter is you are done when you die. If people lived by that rule they would not be out killing each other would they???? Makes sense. Because of people not being well educated they are lead to believe that there is life after death. Therefore the lead these poor people to there death.

People wrote the bible but they say it is gods word. How can that be??? I say they were and still are on acid.

I THINK YOU MISUNDERSTOOD, DID YOU STUDY HISTORY THE DARK AGES WAS ONLY FOR THE CHRISTIANS, WHY WAS IT CALLED THE DARK AGES?
THE DARK AGES HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH US.AS I SAID IT WAS OUR GOLDEN AGE. BESIDES WHAT I WAS RESPONDING TO WHAT Skobelev SAID "The warriors of Allah can barely read, and as they have no value in the civilised world,

I'm here to make a few friends. In order to do so, I must respond to earlier sentiment. Here goes:
The USA is BAD, BAD, BAD. Puppet regimes are established everywhere to benefit and control certain areas of interest! The only country to use the nuclear bomb was this nation of degenerates! It hides behind the smokescreen of democracy! BAD,BAD, BAD! EVIL, EVIL, EVIL! One day all the countries of the world will form an alliance and dig through the center of the earth to conduct a surprise attack on Washington D.C.!!! DIE, DIE, DIE.
To all you rationally-minded individuals, I must apologize. However, I hope this exercise in fanaticism has been useful in illustrating its ridiculous tendencies. I know American global policy has its flaws, but I doubt that there are wicked politicians living in a dark castle who are plotting world domination. A world power-by definition-does have its global interests. American foreign policy will always step on the toes of other countries because of its strategic position. I almost hope that China attempts to emerge into a political role similar to the United States. Believe me, the world will not be a better place if China dictates global policy.

Bertrand Russel in ‘History of Western Philosophy

Our use of phrase 'The Dark ages' to cover the period from 699 to 1,000 marks our undue concentration on Western Europe...
"From India to Spain, the brilliant civilization of Islam flourished. What was lost to christendom at this time was not lost to civilization, but quite the contrary...

"To us it seems that West-European civilization is civilization, but this is a narrow view."

to suleyman I think that the U.S.A. leads by example. Politics and religion don't mix. When you do that you have what most of the world has today war!!! I am not saying that America has all the answers it doesn't but it is fair to all of it's inhabitants.

That is why it is such a great place to be. The people here are gracious about what they have and appreciate the freedom that the contitution garantees them. Whe choose and people around the world can choose as well. Democracy is not the perfect solution but it is obviously working better than anything else in the world.

That is not what you call democracy. All the people have to be involved. India is a pretty is a good example of abuse of power. I have an Indian friend here in the states and he says that the situation there is most people are uneducated and cannot read or write and they have local leaders that the politions bribe to get power. Then they write their own laws and they keep the power by keeping the people uneducated. It is tough to find people good people to run a nation.

like I said before it is not perfect but it will work. I suppose that as the people of India evolve they to will find that democracy works.

People need to be held accountable for their actions and the only way that can happen is to put laws into place that pertect the people from this sort of thing. It is not easy, we had to do the same thing it is a long hard road but there are good people out there and times will change for the better give it a chance it will not happen overnight. Corruption is a terrible thing. Money and greed will never go away but as the people get more education and start voting for themselves it will get better.

There will have to be a lot of sacrifice that will have to start in the home of these people to carry the burden to get their kids into school because they will be the future there. Believe in the young. The young do not have tainted minds and they don't know to hate their nieghbors yet that is taught to them thru the parents. passed down from generation to generation.
