Where I think NATO made a big misstake in Kosovo is in not reconising that it is a land of retrobution. The only time Yugoslavia was at peace with itself was when Tito made everyone play nice or else.

Report: Possible Ceasefire Pending In Grozny
7:20 am PST, 27 January 2000

The Russian Interfax news agency is reporting that talks are due to be held Friday between Chechen militia chief, the former mayor of Grozny Bislan Gantamirov, and a group of Chechen field commanders, whose units are opposing the federal forces in the eastern districts of the Chechen capital.

"The field commanders have contacted Gantamirov through mediators to offer a cease-fire," the former mayor's press service has told Interfax, and "the field commanders are ready to completely end the resistance in Grozny's eastern sector."

Gantamirov has confirmed this information for Interfax, but refused to name the commanders. "I am ready to negotiate with all sensible forces, except the outright terrorists and bandits who have blown up the apartment houses of peaceful civilians, have seized hospitals, engaged in the slave trade and executed hostages," he said.

The militia chief said his units have finally managed to gain full control over Grozny's third and fourth districts, where Russian flags have been raised. "The most remarkable thing is that there were thousands of people in the basements of the ruined micro-regions. For all this time, they hid themselves there from the bombing. We managed to lead them out to the Nadterechny district and Urus-Martan through Staraya Sunzha, " Gantamirov said.

Scattered rebel units continue to put up fierce resistance, he went on. At the same time, Gantamirov confirmed that the militants were suffering "huge losses, and the body count runs into the hundreds already."

He said he is convinced that Grozny will be cleared of militants and taken over by Russian and Chechen militia forces by the end of January.

On the subject of the situation at the Minutka Square, Gantamirov confirmed that "fighting is underway there, but the square will be taken under our control very soon." "This site has been the site of heavy battles, and the square has periodically changed hands" over the last few days, he said.

Gantamirov did not specify his units' casualty rates, however, he did not deny that it is considerable. "We have dead and many wounded," he said

Dimitri You could be right. Look at Russia's elite they seem to be the only ones doing OK. The politician are tied to the mob creating a puppet government spoiled by crime prostitution and caos. The only way to fight this is to stand up and vote for someone that is not corrupt. someone that has morals. That someone could be you. You need to be the start of the new russia empower yourself and do some thing. I bet you will be amased by what one man can do!!

Igor
I agree with the "Secret Forces in the History of Russia" and so on.
But be careful not to fall in this this WorldNew Order stuff.
It's just capitalism and the US thriving to ease way to his own capital.
Don't think Wall Street guys are the kind to swear an oath in a KKK-like ceremony.
U R N also posted something similar with Franck-Massonery not very convincing because what about the Jews then? He!
