Hovorca cecenských povstalcov Movladi Udugov ju vzápätí oznacil za „círu loz a propagandu“, no vcera uz cecenská strana v dementovaní správ nepokracovala. Informovala len, ze väcšina tých, ktorí sa vzdávajú, je tazko zranená, casto i neschopná pohybu a nie je medzi nimi ziadny významný velitel.
