Your text shows the russians have to face tough times ahead.
I don't think they are so fool. They need to do it, at least theyr country need to.
Individuals of course would feel better far away from Grozny. I don't understand why these rebels NEED to sacrify theyr lifes and oblige other to die for a cause lost in advance.
They are fierce fighters and brave but what will they earn from that war except martyrdom?

LONDON (AP) - Victor Serebriakoff, who helped build the high-IQ society known as Mensa into a worldwide organization with tens of thousands of members, is dead at age 87. Serebriakoff died Saturday at his home in suburban Blackheath, British Mensa said. Serebriakoff joined Mensa in 1950 and became its leader in 1954. He had an IQ of 161 and was the creator of several popular IQ tests. The cause of death was not announced.
