MATTHESSON I think about the check you will be sending

I have listened with silence to the participants on this board for the last couple of weeks in the hope of expanding my insight and understanding into the issues confronting Russia and Chechnya. Along those lines, I have found this board not much different from other boards in that most folks seem to be intelligent, courteous, and at least willing to listen to differing points of view. However, it seems to me that this board does have an atypically large lunatic fringe. I am constantly amazed that intellectually challenged people do not seem to understand that religious fanaticism, the use of pornography, and/or the substitution of profanity for intelligent espression precludes anyone paying serious attention to their position or what they have to say. For those of you who are not a part of the lunatic fringe, I say thanks for some lively debate and interesting points of view. To those of you who have chosen to be in the lunatic fringe, I say thanks for being on this board as a constant reminder of the emotional, spiritual, and intellectual insanity of hypocritical, narrow minded, bigoted, profane people.
