Mary, it may still be the effects of iradiation and that strange transformation, which I assume has now been reversed under the new DMS regime.
Ahum!!
Ah Methinks me feels a Shakespearian Sonnet coming on.

I guess some were not willing to register (and leave theyr e-mail) under the New DMSO.
The NDMSO is not good for the free feeling that embraced this board. I'm afraid we will not see a lot of newcomers too.

I thought The Baron Balvennie was Dimitri. Was I wrong?

Jake, just wanted to say,I don't want you to be kicked off. I have a long strenuous day ahead of me tomorrow and look forward to having something other than the cat to kick at the end of it.

Have a nice day!!

Fred,

No not Dimitri, I had decided on someone else we all know and love, but that would be telling.

I guess the free feeling was abused, when I first arrived there were no checks at all, but also less abuse and more contributers. Of course there was a lot of schizophrenia: Whatever happened to Johnny Rambo(Hey URN? Dimitri?) and Calypso?(snigger)

Night

THX,
Since you brought up the "contribution" subject.. I have asked you what did you contribute in regards to the actual topic of the board. Still I got no responce, in spite of the fact that you had time to post something unrelated (but indeed important)today. Or was I being [too] rude to you while asking you the first time? [not sarcastic at all]

This topic has already been addressed. When there more time tomorrow, there will be a post elaborating more on this subject. Perhaps you need to learn patience too. Nothing unrelated has been posted by me so far. Your opinion to the contrary may be skewed by the fact that you simply cannot see the larger picture and view the events in Chechnya as occuring in a bottle separate from the rest of the world. In this respect, to answer Fred's objection, Antonio's posts were at least indirectly relevant to the topic of discussion.

Guys I will post shorter versions with just titbits and link unless it is really good.I was lazy to do that because it was easier to post whole article.

1996

On January 14 in Grozny, in two residential blocks, dead bodies of seven people of Russian nationality were found, including women. All had bullet wounds.
On January 16, from the territory of TET-2 of Grozny, a group of unidentified armed criminals captured and took away 29 power workers who arrived in Chechnya to assemble generating facilities from other regions of Russia.
On February 28 in Grozny a group of armed militants captured Krasnodarstroi builders I.V. Gomzhin and V.G. Bedny. Subsequently both were killed and buried in Samashki village. For the crime committed B.I. Kiriyev was detained.
On March 8 in Grozny 35 workers of Oblremstroi repair and building firm from Saratov were taken hostage. Later on, 13 men were released, three died in captivity.

This is a list of all Non-Chechens that were killed or kidnapped in Chechnya prior to last war.None of this reported in Western press.I would say more than enough reasons to go in. http://www.infocentre.ru/eng_user/index.cfm?page=10&date=2000-07-13&msg_id=16226&mpr_id=701

Nope. You need to quit jerking the frase "large picture" around whenever you cannot come up with the direct answer. "Big picture" has nothing to do with the fact that you had no intentions to discuss Chechnya to begin with but rather your intentions to score some points in this discussion.

"""Perhaps you need to learn patience too"""

Perhaps, YOU need to tone down.

On the final note, I [personally] have no interest in your opinion in Chechnya at all (with all due disrespect, you're a loony-case, in my opinion); I was simply directing you away from your conspiracy theory, since, after making your point, you kept on going on and on...and on..

If I need to take any anger management classes, you, friend, need more serious help. Psycho-analist would come in handy in your case.
