L'menexe

If "axualy" means "actualy", I tought L'menex meant L'next. (I forgot there were a "e" at the end)
But as it's not, I will keep your name intact in the future.

This analysis is desperately sticking to the East-West view.
There is no real confrontation between Russia and US other than in ultra nationalist-communist russian political speech and its equivalent in the US (Reaganist republican).
I said desperately because the world and such analist failed to see this evolution.
That two countries dispute the same interest i.e. oil route, is normal, as well as to try to turn the locals against theyr rival.
It doesn't mean cold war.
France and US too, dispute on some issue (food). It doesn't mean french keep theyr military ready to counterattack the US army in case.
There will be always points of disagreement but points of agreement between the two giant prevail.

He forget as well the emergent threat of islamic ultra-fondamentalism. The 3th big power. I don't think they can be a sound analysis on the international power balance without considering Islamic forces.

Russians hate americans. It's possible. But they are aware the oligarchs are Russians and certainely hate them more than the american bankers.
They hate american to the extent they backed up Yelstsin and the mafia.
The Russian are understand very well politic and is very suspicious on the whealthies. They will not fall in narrow minded anti-west. They know the responsible are first russians.
About Nato expanding: Here again why should Russia worry? Why the eastern countries couldn't have the right to join Nato? If they don't agree why did they remove theyr army? Anyway Nato or no Nato, it will change little in case of conflict.

Some politicians are rattling the nationalist pride to gain popularity and point theyr finger to accuse the west to have something to say. Fortunately Putin is beyond that. The situation too.

Chorny, well put. It is true Americans don't like to be #2 in anything. I feel we are a very competive people. Yes economics is the main drive behind the Russian immagration, not to mention quality of life.

hairy whatzername:

let me get this straight;
it was moi who drove people away and not toi, with all the nasty garbage you posted for _months_? name some, i _dare_ you. you think very highly of yourself, dont you?

i couldnt care less if kim arx sent you stuff i wrote, and that's the only, ONLY individual you could possibly name. i dont have anything to say about her on the board, or to you.

what a bloody _joke_ that you should think i live at home with my folks. i left home the day after i turned 18, in 1975, and never returned. gee, is that before you were born? perhaps it's _toi_ who oughta grow up, not to mention WISE UP. -_-

if ms.arx believes she has material she thinks could hurt me, have her forward it to me. otherwise i highly doubt it.

otherwise, it's just more _distortions_ from a "woman" [using the term very loosely] who claimed to shave her back, and had three teeth.

Can we go onto matters of greater importance? Ooops! I guess I opened myself up for the Free Speech purists who feel that the entire realm of this right is threatened. Let's get on with it. Antonio's gone and some are making it seem like he's some sort of martyr for Free Speech. Perhaps news will get to one of the Presidential candidates and he'll make issue of it within his platform GET ANTONIO BACK ON DMS!!! GET ANTONIO BACK ON DMS!!! It sounds like a catchy political picketing mantra. Such an issue will mobilize the public into a collective gesture of protest. Mothers will strategically place duct tape on the mouths of their children to symbolize the act of censorship. Anger-driven citizens holding signs will circle the various locations of Internet service providers throughout the country. FIGHT THE POWER BACK!!!

fred L:
no, my mistake then. sorry.

spelling 'actually' as 'axually' is merely an affectation on my part, using 'x' instead of 'ct' sometimes.
====
the name "L'menexe" is axually [HOO HAH!] derived from an ad-lib vocal by george harrison near the end of the beatles song "it's all too much".

THX,
as Alexunder says, come back, don't be so sensitive, man! I'll be gentle and ignored. PERHAPS you can share with the rest your wisdom. And [perhaps] some of the cannabis?

As for me, I prefer the Lord's hashish..

WOW Larry your 33 years of age. SIDEBAR, the postings and attitudes previously presented by you appeared most adolescent. In years to come, wonder if the US can maintain it's promenece on world stages if your an example of a typical 33 year old American high school graduate who didn't further his education, obtain a trade or even serve in the military and has only pocket change while living from paycheck to paycheck. Rather than hanging around here all day might be time to grow up and get a life before it's to late little man.

OIL COMPANY WITH PARTICIPATION OF ROSNEFT STATE OIL COMPANY TO BE SET UP IN CHECHNYA

An oil company will probably be set up in Chechnya by the end of summer with the participation of Rosneft state oil company, told journalists Russian Vice Premier Viktor Khristenko. "The republic might finally get a legally registered and normally functioning oil production company," he said. Rosneft and the Chechen administration will probably have equal shares in the future oil company, he believes.

The company's profit and tax money will be used to carry out the programme of Chechnya's restoration, stressed Khristenko. "No other interests are involved here," he added.

According to preliminary calculation, the company might reach a production level of hundreds of thousands of tonnes in several months' time and, "providing that the military and political situation is okay," might exceed 500,000 tonnes next year.

Right now, the republic's administration is holding consultations to discuss the creation of the company in question. The final decision is due in a few days. "We cannot protract the business any longer because nobody has an oil production license here, so any oil production in Chechnya can be identified as illegal," added the Vice Premier.
