IGOR???? Fred,

"Especialy the US. For Germany you can argue that neonazi trend. But for the US? Let alone other
European states."

I beg your pardon, have you been watching John Wayne movies?

Are we talking about the country that voted for a socialist/Green party government.

Most Neo-Nazi's in Europe are linked to football violence: England,Holland, Germay, France.
Oh yes, Remember Le Pen in France, Mussolini's Granddaughter in Italy, Haider in Austria.

No Neo-nazi's in the US? What the hell are those "Arms-bearing", white supremist idiots camped up in the Hills then? Boy-Scouts?

I don't go along with the line that Germany is continueing a policy of Eastern Expansionism a la Kaiser. It's like saying that because the 1st world war was started by events in Sarajevo, the 3rd WW will start there as well. Or God forbid, Russia still has expansionist asperations a la Communist Regime???

That is just too easy a view of Historical determinism. And if the "emperor's" article is based on that premise then it is questionable.

Kim

Although journalists and spectators are being allowed to photograph and observe it, armed American soldiers are on guard to keep anyone from getting closer than 50 meters (yards).

``We kept it secret before but we're now showing it to the whole world,'' said Lt. Col. Joseph Skaja. ``The shape of the plane is well known. But the technology behind the stealth is still secret.''

No other air force has been allowed to acquire the planes

Igor, I did see a stealth at an air-show a few years back. But it was somebody else who posted that. hell if you want to walk up and touch a stealth fighter 9even thougth you are not supposed to touch the planes) just go to dayton Ohio to the USAF museum near Wright-Pat Air force base. There is one sitting in there on display for a few years now. "Showing off the Stealth fighter for the first time at the berlin Air show", In other words it was the first time the Stealth was at the Berlin air show itself but not the first time it has been shown off. "Technolgy behind the stealth is still secret". Lets see, radar absorbing paint, shape the plane in a manner it doesn't reflect radar, bury the engines inside plus have special exaust vents for the thrust as to lession detection.

I believe Antonio must escape the throes of his parents' basement and begin working in the real world. Conspiracy theorists of a fanatical nature use scatterbrained hypotheses to compensate for their own seemingly oppressed situations. I too adhered to the conspiracy facet when I was an undergraduate student. However, all these impulses became thoroughly diffused into thin air as I involutarily acknowledged the repressive reigns of adulthood. I've read most of those Robert Anton Wilson books and watched the X-Files in the dark while believing that the government monitored me for merely possessing subversive literature. For me, the conspiracy-laden tales of conniving dominant-group political plots vanished with the emergence of adulthood. Of course while I commit to a rational tone, Mr. Antonio's conspiratorial impulses would suggest that I am duped by the Illuminati/Masonic Political Cult of America.

Turk rights commission calls for torture trials 05/29/2000

ANKARA, May 29 (Reuters) - A Turkish parliamentary commission seeking prosecution of human rights abuses symbolically presented
prosecutors on Monday with a rack and other tools of torture it seized in a sweep of police stations.

In early May, the increasingly high-profile commission reported widespread torture after conducting spot checks of more than 30
Istanbul police stations named in complaints.

The commission, while confirming human rights violations that the European Union says Turkey must address if it is to join the bloc, is seen by many as a sign of the political will to
undertake those reforms.

The commission's report said detainees were subjected to electric shocks, beatings and unsanitary conditions in Turkish police
stations, and called for the prosecution of senior officials in whose jurisdictions torture was reported.

Commission head MP Sema Piskinsut urged judiciary officials on Monday to authorise new trials for policemen acquitted of torture allegations.

Turkish officials acknowledge human rights lapses in the country's police stations but trials of policemen accused of violations generally end with light sentences.

The head of Turkey's parliament said after a visit from the commission's members on Monday that torture was a matter of isolated incidents rather than a systematic problem in Turkey.

``Torture in Turkey is not systematic, and related to (police) training,'' speaker Yildirim Akbulut said.
