kisako,
use windows cyrillic font, and the garbage disappear.

* I don't like any OS from M$ in all honesty. And I don't use Netscape.
As to Your last "for me only" post in "Latin" - I gather it's Japanese docker cussing missing the Kuril Islands after too much sake after which the docker wouldn't believe that he speaks another language.

It is not necessary to use Netscape. If you use MS Explorer, go to View, end then - Encoding, where you find the Cyrillic font. However, if you do not understand Russian, do not bother.

You were partially right. This was a terrible russian curse.

Maskhadov, Khattab, and Basayev Escaped From Federal Forces Again..

Aslan Maskhadov, Khattab, and Shamil Basayev have managed to escape the federal encirclement around the district center of Shatoi. According to the RIA-Novosti news agency, referring to military sources, Maskhadov and about sixty guards are now in the village of Kharsenoi that is north-west of Shatoi. According to the military's estimation, Kharsenoi is now one of the most convenient places in the mountainous districts of Chechnya to escape to. From this village, a dozen ways lead to the flat country of the republic, as well as to Georgia and Ingushetia.
Basayev is hiding in the mountains in the district of Shatoi. In that district the base of a famous field commander Ruslan Gelayev is located, who, according to a source, has been seriously injured.

Khattab and his unit are now in the Vedeno Gorge. According to a radio intercept, he is going to leave Chechnya in the near future. It is not excluded that his unit will make an attempt to run from the republic to the territory of one of the neighboring countries.

Reuters news agency reports, referring to the staff of the United Military Alignment in the North Caucasus, that after the seizure of Shatoi, Chechen militants have entirely lost the centralized position of their units. Illegal units are in a hurry to retreat into little bands from 15 to 20 people.

PERSONALLY, I THINK THEY WERE LONG GONE WAY BEFORE THE ENCIRCLEMENT..THEY A VERY TALIBAN-FRIENDLY, YOU KNOW..but I could be wrong..

Saladin, if I find our where you live, I'll sue you for unathorized use of my "Random Russian Names Generator" application.

Oh yeah, another little mistake -- By documents (and especially dog-tags) Russian soldiers are carrying, you can't tell where they are from, only where their garrison was stationed. E-mail your friends at www....net, and tell them that.

Not many news today, Khattab promised his "sponsor" terrorists acts all across Russia right before/during elections. Andryushen'ka Babitsky suddenly remembered that he didn't enjoy his stay in Chernokozovo after all. And Maskhadov made so many promises on Radio Svoboda that I can't even remember them all, something about having 25,000 mujahideen, ready and able.

Hopefully tomorrow will bring more news.

But who and what are the witnesses? Churches, monasteries and holy places. So they set out to destroy the witnesses, to obliterate the traces. In 21?2 months more than 70 monasteries and churches were burned or demolished. Among them were the churches built by our illustrious and holy ancestors in the 12th, 13th and 14th centuries. The churches and monasteries, which survived 500 years of Turkish occupation, did not endure two months in the presence of a 50,000-strong international 'peacekeeping' force."

And the Grinch had a wonderful awful idea..

Hi Dimitri,

I guess they don't even have to be alive, to be symbols of resistance to people with nothing left to lose.

The Serbs, on the other hand, were widely seen as aggressors. Now they're outnumbered in Kosovo nearly 20 to 1; and in Kaiser's words, "the problem is that ultimately, the defence of anything depends upon local people.

"Ideally, both Albanians and Serbs in Kosovo will realize that the loss of the monasteries and churches, like the loss of the mosques and Ottoman houses, will impoverish the whole area."

The sad serbs of Kosovo can send Milo a BIG THANK YOU card for what has happened to them!!

Something for all you FANATICAL MUSLIM WHINNERS

The Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Alvaro Gil Robles has declared that no one can ignore how far Russia has advanced on the road for democracy. Gil Robles arrived in Strasbourg after a trip to Moscow and Chechnya. He has told the Russian news agency ITAR-TASS that he has no material evidence of human rights abuse in Chechnya, and that the rights of ethnic Russians and ethnic Chechens must in equal measure be protected in that north Caucasian republic. As for the Chechen reconstruction effort, the Russian membership of the Council of Europe gives sufficient ground for Council aid and support. SO SHUT THE FUUCK UP SALADDIN AND B AND THE REST OF YOU SHITE
