If Bin Laden would throw a press confrence or some how allow himself to be interviewed you would see what he said all over the freaken place.
What I regret's that I'd missed that BBC round-table of journalists documentary on Bosnia - it was underway to record it. And there were frank words on that there had been no coverage from the Serb side.
Chris McGreal
* A good hysterical article of him. I didn't read LM's article on Rwanda. But bringing Rwanda in is the worst defence he can afford - when the killings began the Security Council reduced the force from 2.500 to meager hundreds and, when corpses were lying around already the force was boosted to 5.500. The US effectively blocked the Security Council in 1993 and 1994 from any significant action in Rwanda. So let him shut up.
To Pety Sosalkin:
Listen carefuly, Pety! You are talking complete BS. Who you gonna nuke? Think before you make any prepositions. That's my advise to you. Leave Chechens alone? No. Basayev and Khatab are FSB's spies? You are idiot. Don't worry we will catch them soon. Is Putin stupid? I don't think so!
P.S. Pety Sosalkin ty konchenui loh. Bazarish kak pizduk maloletnii. Pochemu bu tebe ne poiti otsosat' u svoego otca?
Gonzo,
CBS did an interview with Bin Laden from an undisclosed location inside Afghanistan and aired it on 6o minutes last fall. Can't remember the exact month tho.
Why is it that Russia and Yugoslavia find it necessary to control the media? Is it to ensure the right spin is told? Hell, you can find out anything you want about the West (just look at Igor's cut & paste jobs) and they seem to keep right on working. Criticism is a part of life it's to bad some people can't deal with it.
Can someone please explain to me why would reporters and film crews that are constantly on the go suddenly surround themselves in barbed wire for a photo shoot.
Bones, I think I remember something about that. Anyway it was a silly argument for him to make in the first place.
