Kim I would disagree with you when you said " Putin is playing a dangerous game on all our behalves. Creating an international crisis to prop up his political arsre back home." I think it was Klinton who was doing that when he created the farce in KOSOVO.

This really isn't KA.

A Web bot is something like a personally programmed search engine. Perl is a popular programming language for `this
sort of thing'
.

Looking at your previous posts you are cuting and pasting with the same gay abandon as the vikings did with their slashing and burning.

AFTERNOON, IGOR, FREDDIE, DIMI, KIMMY, KISSIE, BETTER, ET:AL

IGOR:
Some very interesting postings this pm. Thanks for your recent article, indeed, you called it several months ago. Who's to blame for the situation as it currently stands? In my humble estimation, I must lay this crisis at the doorsteps of one falandering President, who, in his infinate wisdom has placed NATO and it's representing governments between a rock and a hard place. Bombing didn't work, ground forces wouldn't work, direct advising and/or supporting waring factions didn't work, embargos are useless. It is a EUROPEAN problem that must be settled by EUROPEANS not by an inferior President who together with his staff, lacks any clear understanding of foreign policy. Granted history clearly dictates how long this ethnic problem has been with us. However, I some how find myself wondering how far along a possible peace process would have been without the NATO BOMBS. THE TIME FOR TALKS WERE YESTERDAY.

As an additional point to ponder, are the citizens of the world poised for or willing to sacriface their loved ones for war?

Igor,

just cause clinton did it, doesn't mean that Putin is excused. These men are playing politics with our lives, don't ya think?

Re Nato watching whilst Serbs die, I don't think that is their intention, do you? It makes pretty bad PR. You were the one that quoted Stratfor.com
Have you read their article on Kosovo today?
Nato don't have enough troops on the ground to control the situation and they have something to prove to the world re: that they were right to bomb in the first place.
It would seem to me prudent in that situation for Russia not to pile on the pressure if their true concern is Serbian citizens. Otherwise they are simply pouring oil on the smoldering embers.

Gonzo the best bet for Nato is get the fuuck out and let Serbs take care of KLA.Resolution 1244 is not being implemented,Serbs are being driven out of their homes etc,so what use is Nato?cover for KLA?

"Did I understand you correctly, You are saying that there is a deliberate attempt to reduce oil prices to hurt the Russian economy? "

No, on the contrary, I think they waited untill Putin was elected to help quick a election issue and stability in Russia.
They don't like Putin very much but they fear much more communists like Ziuganov.
A fall in crude price would have deter a "good news" for Putin.
As Madleine Allbright used to say, "we must give Putin some space to breath". So they did.

Now they don't intend to hurt Russian economy but think about theyr own one.

Heres a thought...what would happen if NATO left Kosovo today? Would the Russian army move in and protect Albanians from Serbs...would the Serb paramilitary and military go back to its old ways.

Another thought, what kind of government allows "paramilitarys" to operate in there own country in which the government does not more or less control. What kind of government allows someone like Arkan to have had his own private army? Not a very good one or one that will do anything to stay in power.

Kim Nato should have thought this through before they stuck their nose in the hornets nest.Putin does not need this for points. The same stuff was happening in KOSOVO as was happening in Chechnya.I would venture to say that Russian public supports any help for Serbia.

Igor...there the problem, the last time the serb forces went after the KLA they drove more than 800,000 people from there homes when the Serb army claimed the KLA numbered 2000. If they "went after" just the KLA in the first place there wouldn't be a problem now.

THEY DISTORTED EVERY THING IN KOSOVO AND HAD NO REASON TO BOMB.THERE WAS NO GENOCIDE,THERE WAS ABSOLUTLY NO REASON TO BE THERE.
