I think where the Russian generals have made a big mistake, is saying this war is all but over, then this recent attack takes place. We have seen it over and over again in history when one side claims to have everything under control just to have things blow up in there faces. For example Gen. Westmorland in Vietnam claiming to have preity much wiped out the Viet Cong just to have the Tet offensive take place soon after. There is no doubt the Russians are winning but still expect some more gurella type attacks.

>> And what about Maria Esmonth?

Why the russians didn't arrest her and many other who were on the rebel side? <<

Maria Esmonth happens to be an independent reporter who has gained fame and recognition for her honest and ingenuous reporting.

Babisky on the other hand has realized and in a way defied the Kremlin's barbaric attitude towards the Chechen people and its deceitful and fabricated reporting of the casualties.

DIMI BABES:

It's not that we're interested in finding a cure for Bacon, he can just dry up and blow away for all I care. It's as the doctor described in my 3:17 posting. The World Health Organization wants to prevent Bacon's desease from spreading. Get it? HA HA HA that poor, poor, sick piss-ant of a little man is going, going, going...hopefully gone.

You will find my answer in the first paragraph. The Russian Generals, who were claiming victory a few days ago, were depicted in my mind with their glum faces as piles of bodies were taken away after today's 'surprising' attack. It was amusing--I couldn't stop laughing!!

Ofcourse the "poor Russians souls" are the immoral Russian soldiers who have no business in Chechnya and who are forced into battles against their wills.

I know the history of Chechnya very well. I know what's happening in Chechnya and I'm concerned about the lives that are being lost (the civilians, the soldiers). You, on the other hand, are being played by unconvincing partiality.

The Chechens are the children of a nation that has three times nearly been exterminated by Russian genocide: in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, the last when Stalin had tens of thousands of Chechen shot and the remainder of the Chechen people deported to Siberian concentration camps.

In the last War Russia killed an estimated 100,000 Chechen civilians, razed much of the small country, and, in an act of monumental terrorism, scattered 17 million anti-personnel land mines across the tiny nation. Russia was driven from Chechnya in 1996, but its hardliners (ie Putin) and communists vowed to `exterminate the Chechen bandits.'

Today the Chechen units are battling ferociously, under intense shelling and 2,000lb bombs with no regard to civilian lives, to defend the strategic Argun and Vedeno gorges. Outnumbered twenty to one, the Chechen's defence of passes vividly recalls the 300 Spartans at Thermopylae.

If this isn't barbaric, then what is??

Is this Barbaric? Its war. Not a nice looking thing anyway you look at it. Sometimes war is neccessary as a means to an end after all political manevers are exausted. is this the case in this war? I don't know. But thing I do know is both sides have commited so called war-attrocies so I don't think ether side can take the hide road on this issue which is why we see posts like. "Yea but whatb about this barbaric act (insert act) that the other side (insert Russian/Chechen) did.

John,

NOW, your real face is defenitely VISIBLE..piles of "poor Russian souls" made ya laugh, right?
You contradict yourself, li'l guy..you remind me of dumbfucked Turka who cries about poor Russian boys and turns around and says that he's glad to see those boys dead..You're in the same "dumbfucked" league, John. It is not only me who can see your contradictions.

I understand. Johnny needed some attention, so Johnny posted some BS to get some. Well, Johnny got some..he's "dumbfucked" league memba now.

you're still drowning, bud..wontcha think "real Long'n'Hard" AGAIN..oh, forgetaboutit, you've already tried and obvioucely did not succeed..save those leftovers, Johnny-boy.

stick around - we need stupid people here too - I'll bully you around..just what you deserve.

* Maria Esmonth happens to be a foreign reporter, who has "gained fame and recognition" for her "perpetraiting" "approved reporting", otherwise noone wouldn't be able to enjoy her "reporting". Poor "darling" is so "independent" as Karl Marx had been in his "reporting" days. Heh! ("'Tis rumored, it was his Das Capital experience.")
Babisky on the other hand has realized and in a way defied the Kremlin's barbaric attitude towards the Chechen people and its deceitful and fabricated reporting of the casualties.
* Yes. Babitsky realised, that his paycheck might be barbarically increased, if bandits are painted as the Chechen people. "Barbaric ignorance". Heh.
