You know, in the western way, in christianity too, the religion has to be applied on all side of the life.
The teaching of the Christ is full of examples of daily events.
It's true on the other hand that non believers or non religious people thinks just about church or temple when they hear the word "religion" because they don't know what it is, that some bigot just pray and attend the mass every sunday or more and don't practice in the facts. Nobody is perfect.
