I am a muslim who lives in the United States. I love America, and most americans. My fiancee is an American. As american as the phrase "apple pie!"

People like Blackjack are hatemongers pure and simple. When I was at college, doing my engineering degree, the only people who spoke like Blackjack were redneck americans .. and fundamentalist jews(like Blackjack). Most decent educated americans don't spew such utter garbage from their mouth, like Blackjack does.

To Blackjack

If you have read the Yahoo and DMS conditions of use. You see that lies and hatemongering are expressly prohibited. I shall be reporting you to Yahoo administration. They will locate your I.P number and put a stop to your blatent hatemongering posts.

Chechen civilians protest against terrorism and war
MOSCOW, Nov 22 (AFP) -
Civilians in the Chechen capital of Grozny held a demonstration Sunday protesting against terrorists and the war with Russia, ITAR-TASS reported, citing witnesses.

The demonstrators demanded bandits and terrorists leave the city and called for an end to the conflict with Russian forces.

The agency said that such demonstrations against the Chechen rebels have been taking place all over Chechnya. Special Chechen self-defence detachments frequently fight against terrorists, the agency said.

Russia has said that the aim of its offensive on the breakaway Russian republic is to flush out what it calls "terrorists" responsible for a series of bombings in Russia this year which left nearly 300 dead.

More evidence of Russian atrocities

Rights group says Russian troops shoot, kill doctor

MOSCOW, Nov 23 (Reuters) - A leading human rights group on Tuesday accused Russian forces fighting rebel guerrillas in its southern province of Chechnya of killing a doctor and injuring three others in an attack on a psychiatric hospital.

Human Rights Watch said in a statement faxed to Reuters from its Brussels office that on November 1 a Russian unit had fired on doctors and nurses who came to care for patients of the Zakan-Yurt hospital southwest of the Chechen capital Grozny.

The statement said the hospital had been clearly marked with the emblem of the Red Cross, harboured no rebel fighters and was home to about 30 helpless patients.

``This attack is a grave breach of international humanitarian law,'' the statement quoted Holly Cartner, head of Human Rights Watch's Europe and Central Asia division.

``It highlights the gaping difference between Russian government claims that it is doing everything to avoid civilian casualties and what is really going on in Chechnya,'' it said.

The organisation said it had received a detailed account of what had happened from two witnesses, head nurse Dagman Tepsurkaeva and medical orderly Umar Uzarov.

They told Human Rights Watch the soldiers had opened fire on their group, which included head doctor Rashid Dadaev, as they arrived for work. Their car also bore the Red Cross emblem.

The shooting lasted for more than 20 minutes, killing Dadaev and injuring three other people.

The orderly, Uzarov, again came under fire a few days later after village elders reportedly negotiated a truce with the soldiers to allow hospital personnel reach the building. He was injured in the leg and received medical aid from the soldiers.

The statement said the hospital had remained open throughout the last Chechen war in 1994-96. It added that the fate of the patients at the psychiatric hospital was unknown.

Moscow says it is trying to keep civilian casualties to a minimum as it battles to destroy Islamic rebels it blames for a series of bomb blasts in Russian cities and for seeking to destabilise the whole North Caucasus region.

Western and Moslem countries have expressed concern over the scale of the Russian offensive and its impact on the civilian population. They have urged Moscow to start talks with the Chechen leadership.

Moscow 'hiding truth of losses in Chechnya'

By James Hansam

Russian forces in Chechnya may be suffering heavier losses than their commanders are
admitting.

Chechen guerrilla leaders claim 200 Russians were killed in one rebel ambush last week.

Russia has put its total losses at 462 dead and 1,486 wounded, but some sources say
this under-estimates Kremlin casualties. There is a suspicion in the Russian media that
Moscow is hiding the true scale of losses so as not to undermine public support for its
Chechen campaign.

Russia's chief of staff said that it would take another three weeks to encircle the capital,
Grozny. This surprised some observers who had expected a swifter move to the final battle.

Moscow today admitted that the besieged rebels are still managing to resupply their forces in and around
Grozny, despite Russia's claim to have ringed the city.

Around 10,000 well-armed fighters are believed to be holed up in Grozny and other key towns.

Meanwhile, the number of refugees fleeing Chechnya is set to rise to 300,000, the Russian emergency
situations ministry said today.

Just got hold of a Russian prime-time TV newsreel. Customs agents intercepted one more cargo in the Sheremetevo airport, now it's rocket-propelled grenade launchers bound to Georgia from Hungary.

Blackjack,
Really top-notch stuff. Not actually connected to Chechnya, but a very good insight on the background of the current trends.

Since the (recent) first "Chechen war" ended, Chechnya got transferred 2 bln. US, excluded from that sum were free power, supplied in good faith, and the Azerbajani crude, that used to disappear on a regular basis in the unknown direction from the Baku-Novorosysk pipeline, and Transneft used to get all the blame from Azerbajanis. All that was used instead to finance Jihad Co.Unlimited - for those, who needs to prop banditry by faith, you know, grandeur, in style; and various small "private enterprises" - for those "poor, uneducated, but tough and proud mountain" child molesters, kidnappers, and general scumbags without any particular niche in the Chechen gangster infrastrucutre. (One counterfeit $ sells for 40-50 c. on the Ingush black market.)
That heavenly reward for a mujahadin for his "noble" death in the name of perverted religion - a hashish-induced dream after visiting of some Internet pornography site!

First U.S. Hand Transplant's Grip Comes to Life
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Reuters) - A New Jersey man who 10 months ago became the first person in the United States to undergo a hand transplant is now able to open doors and tie his shoes, doctors said on Tuesday.

Matthew Scott, 38, has made excellent progress and ``range of motion, grip and sensation have partially returned sufficiently to allow good hand function,'' Jewish Hospital said in a statement.

Scott, of Absecon, New Jersey, lost his left hand in a fireworks accident nearly 10 years ago. During a 15-hour operation on Jan. 24 and 25 doctors replaced it with a hand taken from a donor who had just died.

The hospital statement said Scott uses his new hand to open his car door, turn door knobs, pick up and hold objects, and tie his shoes. He returned to work June 1 as a clinical coordinator at Virtua Health in New Jersey and as an instructor at Camden County College.

``This Thanksgiving, which is exactly 10 months to the day of my surgery, I am most thankful for the courage and generosity of the donor family,'' the hospital quoted Scott as saying. ``It was their compassion that made this unbelievable gift possible.''

This means that U.S. one day, in future will implement this use of interchangeable parts into humans on a mass scale. So i can kill someone with a gun and just replace my hand, they will never know it was me. HaHaHA, you chechens will be easy prey in the U.S. of A.
