No matter how diverse the human race in color and stature may be. We should ponder on the fact that we afterall are one of the living creatures on earth. And one of the major instinct of this and other animal species is to protect what it thinks is its own. That is what both sides of the Chechen conflict are doing right now. Just like a wolf will take up to fight a bear more than double its size, when it feels like its young or its den is under attack. As for the bear, it will never give up a territory it has marked its own, without killing or driving away the threat.

There is nothing nothing new about Russian expansion. This has been going on since WWII. Russians took, Estonia,lativia then hungary.. czechosolavkia .etc etc..

However things are different now. Before Russian expanision was due to communist idealogy now it is due to politcal opportunism coupled with terrorism and corruption. The Russian mentality is still very much communist. The current cost of Russian expansion and terrorism mean is very high for them, as now Russia is a begger nation. The price Russians wil pay is that no money will be left for food, heating oil as winter approaches. Ordinary good Russians will suffer for the political terrorist aims of czar yelstin and loyal dog Putin. The irony is that Russians may massacre the chechyans with their bombs and planes but Russians will themselves die a slow agonizing death from cold, hunger and starvation.

The REAL terrorists are Begger Russians who Bomb defenceless women and children. Russians who bomb maternity hospitals, Russians who stop terrified women and children from leaving Chechnya. Visit the Uk or USA and you will see why people dislike these corrupt terrorist people.

Question:
During this vital Chechen Campaign, why was the Russian premier enjoying a vacation in a luxury resort for more than a week? I don't think this is a moralle booster for the young soldiers who are giving their lives in this conflict.
